One o the best videos I've seen from Leica Camera. Congratulations Knox.
Thanks! 😃
What a film. Inspiring photos and the music is incredible.
Knox is genuinely one of the nicest & humble photographers I've met in Sydney. His work is inspiring.
At the 1:01 minute mark. Monsieur Bertie. You are an artiste. Seriously. Magnificent.
Wunderbare Aufnahmen, herzlichen Dank fürs mitnehmen.
Herzliche Grüße aus dem Fichtelgebirge Thomas
Where are you Knoxxy' these days? I still marvel at and admire this goodness of the blackened night - you bad man....
Knox can be found taking his amazing photos at instagram.com/knoxbertie/
What an amazing camera! It’s my dream camera. The images look so fantastic! The level of detail is incredible.
Couldn't agree more!
Total artiste in that he frankly admits, at times to be divorced by the pursuit of photography at times...only to frenetically come running back with devotion..Love it.
Outstanding images Knox, only shame is it is just 3:20, could watch it for hours. Well done.
Deeply emotional.
Wonderful images and amazing background score! Goosebumps listening to it.
Glad you like it!
Exquisite video and exquisite shots from a talented artist!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Inspirational Know Bertie! All we need to do now is be able to get out of lockdown and get out and shoot. Thanks for these great shots mate!
Beautiful work!
Really impactful!
That was a piece of (monochrome) art. Wow. Thanks
Amazing images. Wow.
Glad you like them!
Superb. Great stuff Knox!
Glad you liked it!
Moving and beautiful.
Terrific! You should be very proud of your images!
Terrific! Nice followup to your Q2M interview with Knox a while back which I truly enjoyed.
Glad to hear!
Stunning work
Many thanks!
That Is Excellent 👌🏼✨
the photo in 1:01 is so beautiful
Truly beautiful
Very nice video, great shots! Maybe I should go for the Q2M too....
You should!
very very inspiring. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video... and great camera...
One day,maybe,who knows...
Maybe one day!
I too am using a Q2 mono and the fact that looking at the space around us with this camera has changed almost everything because of the camera's innate
capabilities. The camera and my thoughts seem to agree with one another. I too continue to make digital images as if I were in the darkroom fifty year ago.
Love Bertie - He is.....The Fist. Not sure if anyone else gets that. He just kicks here. Reference level Japanese Anime compliment. I'm French (read: pretentious by nature) in my spare time, I like nice things.....Just like Leica. La belle vie. Just a total sortie of Monochrome goodness. The other comments say it all, Bertie' has put on a Noir et Blanc oeuvre here. I guess, Leica shines here, as a Fuji shooter. The dedicated monochrome 'shoots' through. Amazing.
I am buying it. I want to get lost with only a monochrome camera.
Yeah ‘dystopian’ is a pretty good way to describe the once great country that was Australia
We want more Knox Bertie Leica goodness! - I have personally read up on the man's artistic persuasions - Sometimes you want to shoot and then you just let the Q2 alone for some weeks.
But then you come back, pick it up and realise that it is such an artistic tool. It has to be said though, and I'm going to be naughty here, possibly even deleted - You need to be good to shoot Leica. Fact.
I curious to know what camera / lens were used to film the color part of this video. The color part was as gorgeous as the B&W.
Leica SL2-S for all of it. By Simon Ozarlins.
Yes it was the SL2-S and 28mm, 35mm and 75mm SL Summicrons.
Nice presentation …any info on the background music?
The music composition was created especially for this video by RANRUN Studio (Sydney) - nice isn't it!
It sure is…if you decide to make it available please let me know.
It’s very simple, sweet, and melancholy …
I love this song. I would (have) listen to it over and over.
Still love Knoxxy' more than day old refrigerated 'Poutine....ok.. I'm lying. Pants on fire. None is perfect..
Animal. Dog!!! Mask off!!!!
great images, bad background sound. Over powers the narrator.
How much did leica pay you! huh!
Amazing work Knox - like Bryon said below, I could watch this video for hours. I'll email you now so we can get you up on Shotkit :)
