Thanks….what is supposed to be the “range” (distance from camera to the monitor.). By mounting below the marker light, the trailer body could actually reflect signal reducing what gets to the monitor. A thought might be that the rear camera be mounted above the red marker light, so that the antenna actually extends above the plane of your roof, to possibly add range or signal strength. Hopefully the camera positioning could be set to both not see the red light and to still see the rear bumper. Possibly a strip of black gorilla tape on the top of the red “lens” would keep the red light out of the camera view. All this said, my thoughts might be for one of your subscribers future project…but for your situation, everything may be perfectly fine. Thanks again for being the installation Guinea pig!

Range hasn't been a problem. Signal is strong on all 3 cameras
I've debated mounting a second rear camera that looks higher up to see down the road behind the trailer

Installed wireless camera on my car and it was rubbish - worked only when the engine was off. Tried it on the caravan. Did not work.Had to wire them in to get them to work. Wireless camera systems are just plain rubbish. And a big waste of money.

I know the ones you mean. Those don't have an antenna though. This one seems to work pretty good
