I told my kids years ago, I wanted House of the Rising sun at my funeral. No church music for me. I would love to have this complete version to play at that time. Great job..
I am 18 years old and this is my favorite song of all that I know... I don't understand my peers why such masterpieces become alien and not interesting... thank you very much for the wonderful organ playing and greetings from cold Russia. peaceful sky above your head
I've always been more impressed with a well thought out solo rather than flashy shredding. That's why this solo is golden. And for me, it's why the guitar solo in Rock Around The Clock is equally golden.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I've bee looking all over yt a decent lesson of the original track, like you. But literally EVERYONE uploads their own versions (they do the guitar and vocal tracks on the piano). Pls, you're the only one who plays like the original song. Could you upload a cover of the full song? That would help a LOT of people, including me. You're the best, man.
I have spent hours upon hours as a kid trying to figure out what was played here (sadly I didn't know back then about sliding). Really, thank you very much for sharing this!
Since I've been a kid i thought my self to play piano/organ after figuring out the chords in this and its the most amazing song. Man you've got me on this solo. i was close but you Nailed It on them blues licks.
Просто бомба! Раньше не очень любил орган или что-то подобное в рок музыке, но сейчас либо постарел либо что-то ещё аж до мурашек, особенно если ещё с хорошим отстроенный бассом🔥🔥🤘
After listening this song,I got interest in learning any musical instrument associated with this song.I badly needed to learn. Came to know about this organ too, nice composition.
Excellent video. I am really glad you set up the camera angle to capture your technique clearly. You have a 45 degree angle vs this 90 degree top down one which some have. (Oh yes great skills / great keyboard).
great! for anyone learning the whole thing there are lots of E flats on the F major chord in the rest of the song. Most keyboardists miss it out 'cos they haven't spotted it.
The key is Am, so the E is the 5th; sliding up from the Eb to the E gives it that flair, sort of a very short AmMaj7 to the Am proper. There's a name for it, but I forget, some kind of grace note. It's all over the place, listen to some Booker T and the MGs. There's another one that you may find interesting, where the 3rd (a C in this case) is played as a very short 2nd (Bb) and moves to the 3rd. Very popular in country music. Floyd Kramer popularized it, listen to his Last Date. So the bE to the E, as well as the bF# (=F) to the F# are common and add a LOT, as you noticed.
you will go to heaven for generously sharing this great solo. great teaching method. I've been trying to figure it out for years. thanks so much. will bring me and friends and family years of enjoyment. how did you figure it out-did it take long?
I love this video, and I know how to play the solo now because is you, so thanks. I also have learned how to play the organ accompaniment slightly, but not like how I hear in the actual recording of the song, and you are the only one I have seen to know how to play the accompaniment exactly like the original song. Can you help me?
If I'm drunk at a bar and hear this, you're getting a $20 tip.
I wouldn't even need to be drunk

That organ sounds so heavenly...
+MrBulbmin10 It sounds very realistic indeed! It's the sound of a Hammond organ.
Richard van Pukkem I really wish I had the money for this keyboard because I would love to play around with this organ sound! It's great!
+MrBulbmin10 grate nice common how come the church didn't produce bible make sale
MrBulbmin10 it is a keyboard with the organ sound, WHAT DO YOU THINK
@@thijmenvanbeek8539 "just an organ sound" Its clearly obvious you have no musical talent whatsoever.

One of the first organ solos I learned 40+ years ago. Watched your tutorial and cleaned up my version. Thanks
The multiple repeats at different speeds is a great way for people to learn, thanks for this!
I know this is an old video but would you do a full organ cover of the song? I play piano by ear and watching and I love the style you used to teach.
The best organ solo of all time
