Welcome to the Northern Rockies, that is classic June hiking! Back in the 70s I did 7 mile hole before going to work at Canyon. We would also frequently climb one of the un-named summits W of Dunravan Pass on the Washburn range after dinner, approaching from Cascade Crk. Wet feet in Junevwere pretty common!
Don’t know how I missed this - majestic mind blowing videography - made me a very happy watcher until your struggles to get to Mt. Washburn in a timely manner - made me empathetic and sharing your frustration. Really glad to see your new post and truly eager to see more of your Yellowstone adventures. Thank you for an amazing beautiful introduction to Yellowstone and your new series. Cheers! 👍
Thank you so much! I failed getting to Washburn but I still wanted post this hike because I love the beautiful scenery. Especially the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
Was just in Yellowstone in early June. Was a great time but didn’t have the time to get out and hike. Had to do all the first time tourist attractions. Looks like you had an eventful trip. A shame the hike wasn’t that good
Great video..as usual!. And a spelling nerd suggestion for you.. I think you meant to type the word what instead of wait in the last sentence of the description... probably auto incorrect mistake.. I do those often.
Even when it’s frustrating, it’s all about the journey and you documented a beautiful journey. Thanks!
This is seriously the best Yellowstone video on RUclips! Amazing cinematography!!!
Thank you for saying that! I appreciate your compliments. There is much more to come in the future.
