    9 years ago but like it was spoken today.
    Voddie's last comments on us being citizens of God's kingdom and RC's comments on God using language to reveal Himself and communicate to us are THE pillars of everything presented in this conference.
    Timeless. Thanks.

    About the negative comments about RC Sproul.....we Christians are not always going to agree on all matters....consider how he and John MacArthur are such great friends yet have different views on baptism. Sproul has taught more good truths than untruths. Thanks be to God.

    • @R_D777
      @R_D777 Год назад +2

      The question was about the concern of raising children and the state of America 25 years in the future. Voddie answered that it doesn't matter where your children are as long as you have raised them in the ways of the Lord because they are foreigners wherever they may be if they are citizens of God's kingdom. Hope that helps.

    Great discussion. All of them are great leaders of the word. I appreciate Sproul bring this vision forth. I'm wondering why he felt it was needed to say "and that was a black lady, I couldn't help but notice that". What was the importance or what drew a distinction. Could anyone make an assumption or could the person who posted the video answer. Thank you!

      +La'Shay Crayton, I noticed that too! I can't imagine what the reasoning would be for that. Brother Sproul has embraced the heresy of Replacement Theology, which is particularly harmful to Jewish people, and is rascist at its root. It lends itself to bigotry and anti-Semitism. I can't help but wonder what is seated in his heart on this matter.

    • @Evan-lx9lw
      @Evan-lx9lw 5 лет назад +3

      Green Eggs ... NO, Sproul did not and does not (post his departing) in Replacement. He believes in continuity. Continuity that all the promises of God are 'yes' in Christ. To OT and NT believers in continuity.
      Also, there is no logical connection of that stance with bigotry. And there was none in his life that I know of.

      Don't know why RC Sproul said that about the woman being black, unless he was pointing out that the people often looked down on, and seen as inferior by white Americans, are the blacks, and yet she had understood what many of RC's own congregation didn't get!

    VODDIES WRONG/ 1 Corinthians 7:15-16
    But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? What are biblical reasons or grounds for divorce? The Bible suggests that “marital unfaithfulness” is the only scriptural reason that warrants God’s permission for divorce and remarriage. HOW CAN HE BE SO WRONG ON THIE SUBJECT//HE ALSO SAYS THAT YOU CAN LOSE YOUR SALVATION/ WHICH GOD SAID ETERINTY,,,

    RC,'s story about the students who were late with a paper...he warned them it had to be in on a certain date at a certain time or get an F. . 250 students. 1st time, 225 did, 25 did not, and he gave them 3 days. 2nd time, 200 did 50 did not, he gave them 3 days. 3rd time, 150 did, 100 did not. He gave 100 an F.
    The problem with that is that he gave a time-line and a consequence. When the 1st paper came due 25 missed the deadline & he did not follow through with the consequence, an F. So he opened the door to Satan & Satan walked in because there was no consequence for the word disobeyed.
    Not the 1st time, more fell the 2nd time, again no consequence. 3rd time, almost half the class fell to Satan because the teacher, the leader lied about the consequences...they did not apply, not the 1st or 2nd time. The mass failing was on the teacher, not the students.
    If he had failed the 1st group of 25 students he would not have lost 100. Thats on the leader or teacher, not the students. They only learned that the leader didn't mean what he said. That's the failing of the teacher.

    Dispensationalism is shot. Unbiblical. It might of had good intentions but it quickly went downhill. It reminds me of men interpreting the Bible with their own humanistic thinking.

    John Nelson Darby did not create dispensationalism and/or the pre-tribulation rapture, he *popularized* it. He brought to view what was already in the Word.
    It is my understanding that Schofield corrected the many errors in the KJV.

      Green Eggs & Ham. You have no idea what you are saying. Go do some research instead of believing your pastors who are deluded and deceived. Read John Gertsner's book, "Wrongly Dividing the word of truth". Get the 2nd edition where he answers his critics. 1830 is the first time any of this heresy was ever heard. John Nelson Darby began a new movement as wicked and heretical as Jehovahs Witnesses and Mormonism and the various other heretical movements of the 19th century.

    No way you can Biblically defend that divorce and remarriage for unrepentant unfaithfulness is not a Biblical reason bc when the God is very clear on that issue in His Word. So why is he putting his own opinion above God’s Word?
