I have recently (like yesterday) stumbled upon this girl, Jackie Hill Perry, on TBN and I LOVE HER!!! Buying her literature, following her on social media, God has shown HIMSELF true in her life. I LOVE JESUS FOR WHO HE IS! So glad he chose me to be one of HIS disciples.
She was TBN? Maybe she was sharing the gospel with them in the network cause they have to have to some of the most heretical views of scripture and who God is.

Your feelings are literally part of you. Growing and functioning means we learn how to listen and manage our feelings in a healthy way.
I love when Jackie opens her mouth... can hear all the wisdoms , words of comfort, teaching and God's grace through her.
Min 32:58 got me Jackie is right on point concerning where I am. I have gone away from homosexuality but the temptation is still there and I start to feel overly sinful which is disproportionately not so and discouraging. I am not my sin nor am I the temptation that comes to me I just have to say yes to Christ by turning away from the temptation. There is a gentleness that Christ has when dealing with me concerning my sin and disorders.
Priase God, it will get easy be encouraged..Tje Holy Spirit will comvict and when you feel tempted call Jesus name..Its helps me.!#🙏🙏

Wow! A biblically nuanced discussion that will bring a blessing to all who are prepared to listen. God truly has people who are able to address in a biblcal framework the challeges facing those who are struggling with homosexuality.

Thank you !!!Jackie for sharing your story in your story I was there. Especially, the church going best to be seen not heard grew up in that era. Yep,pretty old.lol. But just loved listening to you little sister tell your truth. I traveled down a path of a very romantic love affair with a woman and really wanted to marry her. But because of Fear of Christian folk in my Family and in my church and yes even my own children would never allow me to me in their world that way. So,I went back into a marriage that was safe. If you get what I mean. Yes I was torn. But, Jesus saved me from me .Thank Him Praise Him for allowing me allowing me to live and to find my way back to HIM.Thank you!!!

Around 26:00 the issue of "testimony" comes up. Our testimony is about us, but when we speak about who and what caused the testimony we are able to testify. Testimonies get the attention of those who have or had similar problems, but we have to put our testimony about Him, front and centre. Our testimonies are a result of what was "testified" about Him to us.
This felt like a whole lot of nothing. Just beating around the bush. Thank God Jackie knows the word and speaks it.

It saddens me that they got so close to answering real questions, but then would either unintentionally or by design start talking about something else. Moody was so right in initially wanting to step back and see our current approaches being too polarized and unhelpful to those who do not experience joy in celibacy and instead feel the distancing and rejection that KHP alluded to. Imagine if KD applied his same advice and understanding around how to serve single people to LGBT ppl. Do not assume that this is their cross, not make them feel like they are abnormal, and apologize where the church has gone wrong. It would also be nice to have more diversity on the panel and have an affirming theologian or one who identifies as a Christian and gay as part of the conversation.

No need to run, you can run however you will be persued even til the day and minute you die to come back to His love and repent I say that as a Christian who is struggling and has always struggled with same sex attraction as well as a multitude of other sins. May God heal all of my unbelief in all my ways, clean the stains from my robe, and keep me forever.
