Humans can be influenced by a lot of things, but not really act on them, most of the time. Riot kitty, that's the same logic of blaming violent video games to having a school shooting.
I am a Canadian and also a B.C. resident. Thank christ I live pretty much on the Alberta border. Vancouver has ALWAYS had an infamous reputation for being full of crazies and druggies, and often the two go hand-in-hand. It is a hellscape that any other concentration of crime within Canada cannot hope to match. Don't ever go there.
I moved from Vancouver to Richmond 5 years ago. I couldn't believe the difference. It' just a bridge that separates the two, but the difference is like night and day. Truly amazing. Especially weird since places like Surrey and Delta (I think, Surrey for sure) are similarly crime-ridden.
Wow… what a freak. And also, so sorry for the loss of that father. Like really? That crazy person was kindly asked not to vape around a child and attacks? Seriously? I recall something almost similar back in college where this guy who was singing loud and obnoxiously and this guy who was with someone older than him to ask if he could turn it down and I couldn’t make out what the dude said but he said something to really upset the other and grabbed his chair he sat on and pulled him off out of anger. There was a bit of shouting before he tried to go off. Avoiding security. And honestly, the guy who is singing I don’t know if he’s even a student. This entire scenario makes me lose faith and hope for humanity. Not only was the father murdered by someone for a very immature and petty reason but he was filmed by a psychopath who wanted the attention that his family obviously never gave him. Both the murderer and the person who filmed it are absolutely heartless. My heart goes out to the family of the father. I really hope that the killer and Alex will be brought to justice.
I ended up seeing the video before hearing this news and I wish I didn't. Completely disrespectful to the victim and his family and was very disturbing. I know people will say they've seen worse on the internet but I'm not the type of person who goes out of their way to look up actual deaths and it makes me question someone's sanity. I hope the murderer gets jailed for life and the guy recording also gets karma.
He didn't necessarily break any laws, there's a slight potential for the family of the victim to be able to sue for emotional damages. And another reason for no one reacting, is in Canada self defense laws practically do not exist. So anyone stepping in and if the murderer got hurt in any way the person trying to take down the attacker could be arrested for assault/battery/etc.
A lot of people do this, a lot, they just watch, they can at least seek for help but thet just want to watch. I never did that and I can't understand why they do that but is just sad, is disappointing.

Listen to him, he said he was sorry to the people he pissed off not to the family that lost a father and a fiancé who didn't deserve some "gamer word" using that man's death for a tik tok.
This is what happens to terminally online people. To them reality isn't real anymore. Their online life is their reality so they disassociate from real life. This guy is a psycho for real. Watching gore videos and saying this was his dream come true? Wtf. This guy doesn't deserve a platform and should be bullied off the internet. He needs help from a shrink pronto. Ayo Rev sounding extra cute and funny today. Also yeah holy cow that guy fits the scientific term of Psychopath pretty perfectly that video where he talks about it being a dream come true is creepy.
That voice at the beginning actually suits the VR avatar well. The person who made that video should of gone to the police instead of TikTok'ing it... And it's sad people just sat and sipped their drinks while someone is getting stabbed.
In Canada, we can't touch the attacker without being thrown in jail ourselves. But I do agree someone should have called the police immediately at least, instead of someone just taking video.
I was so confused at the start, rev has a girl voice now? But in all seriousness that mini colab was funny, I love her content. Rev you the best at making me laugh, the topic discussed is a series one to say the least
Nowadays the first thing people do in an emergency is to pull out their phones, not to call for help but to record it in video and use it for their own gain. I *ABSOLUTELY DESPISE* this mentality.
I don't think any of the other witnesses are any better than Alex is. not only did they not help the man being attacked, they let this creep walk up to and record a video like this. and presumably didn't call for help either? hypocrites probably would want help if they were the victim...sick bastards. all of them.
this kind of things should be punishable and MAYBE we can finally start to have some decency when people are force to PAY the price for their heartless behaviour. tiktok was a mistake and twitter too and pretty much almost every media that encorage this garbage behaviour.
Something similar happened to me once. It was a town festival, very busy, and I was walking to the pub for a pint. I turned the corner and saw a bunch of cops. Two had a guy on the ground in cuffs and tied in a pretzel. Another guy was lying in a pool of blood. I have medical training. My first instinct was to run towards them, "Shit! I can help!" But one of the cops held up her hand and just shook her head. Too late. So I went and sat to watch what happened. They bundled-off the perp in a paddy wagon, none too gently. And I was expecting an ambulance to take away the victim. But instead a flatbed truck with traffic cones rolled up. I was expecting them to cordon-off the area, but what happened surprised me... They put the body in a side compartment of the truck, and used a hose from the truck to hose the blood off the footpath. Almost like it was it designed for just such a situation... Very discrete, especially during a festival. It all only took about 20 minutes. And all that was left was a wet patch. The festival went on as if nothing had happened. But at no point did I even think of filming it.
why are people like this allowed to just roam the streets like that this bodger guy deserves to receive punishment for doing such awful things just after witnessing a murder scene. my condolences to the fiancee, the kid and everyone else that was friends or family of the poor man 😢
... hearing this made my blood boil especially when you hear the cries of the family as your doing a TikTok a couple feet from them No respect for the dead or the family Cares about himself If it happens to him how would the other people respond to him from what they seen him do here
Crap like this is part of why I don't go out in public anymore. If he was as wide as the news image, he'd be a dangerous type of good looking crazy guy... But he is far too cringe to be worth the trouble(let alone worth the risk of being nothing but clout).
A sad truth to this is that it's very much a mindset gov'ts wants citizens to have, they don't get to defend or help themselves or others or they are liable in ways no good citizen should be.
I know its irrational, but as someone who walks around armed and is very passionate about protecting people, I felt this strong, impossible need to be there and protect the guy. When I saw this uncensored on Twitter, that is. Someone just filming it also rubbed me the wrong way, but I honestly cannot fully hold it against the person filming. Canada likes to prosecute heroes and disarm the good, and a knife can kill you in seconds with one good jab.
It would be really baffling to me if that's the case in Canada - around here you have a civil duty to prevent possible crimes or at least show social courage and are obligated to help if you're a trained first aider.
Strawb voicing Rev's avatar instead of the legend himself *made me do a double take so viciously in my chair* but I'm glad I got to see that tbh. Strawb has the most soothing voice I know and Her talking with Rev's avatar was something else. 😂❤
Reminds me of this one interview with an EMT worker which I have seen years ago. He was, understandably, very angry and upset when he told the story. I think it was a motorcycle accident that he described, and when he arrived on scene there was a man standing above the accident victim and instead of helping him, he was filming the guy on the ground for his social media channel. And when the EMT worker wanted to help the guy this camera idiot pushed him away, because the EMT worker was "ruining" his shot... Sadly I cannot recall if the victim made it through. But yea, not the first time I hear about such an absolute moronic behavior. Mankind's demise is themselves...

@@somechinesedude5466 It's not a literal first aid kit, I just keep pocket tissues, bandages and hand-sanitizer in a pouch on my backpack. My father always taught me to be prepared cause he's a Vietnamese refugee that had to escape during the war. It really doesn't hurt to be well prepared and supplied.
The crime in my city is usually gang related or associated with dillusional crackheads. In then end you never know with people, which is why I stress the importance of staying vigilant. I've been called paranoid before, but I only tell people this because I want them to be safe, that's all.
A good piece of advice I once heard from a veteran is, "Never outsource your personal defense." I must admit one of the things I do agree on in regard in Tiktok, is that it gave birth to a self centered narcissist culture.
My condolences to the victim’s family, this did not deserve to be put on Tiktok for fame.
Tiktok didn't give birth to anything. It just brought the beast into the light and gave it a voice.
Actually no, once a narcissist, always a narcissist.
He wears the same clothes every time I see him
Seriously, people take things so damn personal these days.
Also also, I see Rev looking at a tweet by possum reviews. I like that. Just because I enjoy rev and possum

Thank you
A lot of people do this, a lot, they just watch, they can at least seek for help but thet just want to watch. I never did that and I can't understand why they do that but is just sad, is disappointing.
Actually reminds me of when my buddy went to patch up a dude who was hit by a stray in a drive by. My buddy sprints to get a medpack from his truck and gets to work, by the time he's got the bleed ing under control he realizes theres 15 phone cameras looking at him, no one had called the cops yet
I could have believed his excuse that he was confused and in shock at what he was seeing if he'd acted like he was confused and in shock by what he was seeing.... but... you know...
Oh boy, better not tell him about that one tiktok of a teen girl making a video about wanting to be a serial killer
That's a legit TikTok...?

Ok I love the beginning of the video when hearing strawb
I feel bad for the wife and the daughter. Especially the 3yrs daughter, because she'll remember that for the rest of her life. 😢
If she's lucky, she won't. I hope she doesn't. No one should have to remember something so painful that happened at such a young age.
Hope she is lucky and she won’t remember since she is a child there is a small chance that she isn’t going to remember
I don't know anything about kids to adult brain, but I heard somewhere that baby will not remember anything. So basically your family members will remember you, but you don't.
Oh great, now thanks to that psychopath I've got a woman crying over her dead husband, and all the empathy I'm feeling over the situation, resonating through my head and I'm say here crying myself.
I just feel bad for the victims family, especially his fiancé and their little girl. They will be scarred for life over having witnessed this.
BTW loved the opening.
Ayo Rev sounding extra cute and funny today. Also yeah holy cow that guy fits the scientific term of Psychopath pretty perfectly that video where he talks about it being a dream come true is creepy.
"what are you doing here this isn't the kitchen" topest of keks.

I feel like the opening skit should have been saved for a more light hearted video
this kind of things should be punishable and MAYBE we can finally start to have some decency when people are force to PAY the price for their heartless behaviour.
tiktok was a mistake and twitter too and pretty much almost every media that encorage this garbage behaviour.
I saw this video earlier today, it was brutal. Hearing the full story is just sad, infuriating, and even more brutal.
But at no point did I even think of filming it.
rev soundin manlier than i remember 0:04

why are people like this allowed to just roam the streets like that this bodger guy deserves to receive punishment for doing such awful things just after witnessing a murder scene. my condolences to the fiancee, the kid and everyone else that was friends or family of the poor man 😢

AND PEOPLE ARE STILL WONDERING WHY AMERICA WANTS TO BAN TIKTOK?!?!
It's from Canda but you're right.
Because the US government wants to have all the information on the app and take it away from China
@@xenoemblem7 Logically that is not a counter point. Events never had to exclusively occur in the US, regardless of where they happen it supports the idea of why it's up for consideration for banning.
I like the idea of banning TikTok but Americans don't need a Patriots Act 2.0
Banning TikTok isn't the real problem with the "TikTok ban".
Everyone wants to be the main character, but most people are really just a fucking Raditz.

Someone should make his dream _really_ come true and have him be on the receiving end of these videos. What a horrible being. Using a dying/dead man for clout instead of helping him or the kid and fiancé.

Rev has gender dysphoria?
Rev, that intro was pretty funny, a good laugh very much needed while feeling ill, keep up the great content!
Bruh wtf just for a vape and the person that video taped it is just as guilty
Person who video tape is innocent. Never did the stabbing
@spirit of post punk i never said that he was involved in the stabbing but he should of called the cops
This dude needs to be in jail with the killer
Man, these people are just terminally connected online, and can't tell the difference what's real and what isn't. Jesus.
Yeah I never saw all those followup videos. Just the murder video itself. Everything else I absolutely hold this tiktocker accountable for.
It would be really baffling to me if that's the case in Canada - around here you have a civil duty to prevent possible crimes or at least show social courage and are obligated to help if you're a trained first aider.
I think there are people that shouldn't have phones or even be on tiktok because I don't think they even know how to be human beings anymore
Strawb voicing Rev's avatar instead of the legend himself *made me do a double take so viciously in my chair* but I'm glad I got to see that tbh.
Strawb has the most soothing voice I know and Her talking with Rev's avatar was something else. 😂❤
GOD DAMMIT this is the second April fools joke today where a vtuber has a loli voice
Wait, rev has a wife?
Damn, now I feel even more lonelier XD
It’s weird how (possibly because I’m almost recovered from my own sickness) there were points where I almost reflexively cleared my own throat just listening to him? Hope you recover quickly, dood!
