Ilana, Obrigada… for the video. I wonder if you can clarify… not sure if I mis-heard. Did you say you can put 2 years €16K in to the bank to get the D7, more easily? I’m self-employed… a woman’s branding & business development coach. All along I’ve only considered the D7 visa… but now I wonder if I should be applying for the D2. Unfortunately I don’t have the capital to invest in a €285K property at the moment, and I want to live in Portugal so either the D7 or D2 will have to work.
    Many thanks! Jen

@Ilana Meyer Thank you Ilana, things most certainly have changed!! Everyone I know who has already moved (self employed like me) went on the D7.
I’m in the middle of packing/moving things to storage for future shipping… and then heading to the US for a couple of months to see family. I will contact you once I am there to do just that.
      Obrigada 🙏🏻
