Holy smokes!! That was a very informative conversation! The NHR is what I personally had in mind for my own situation and was confused by the requirements of the D7. Thanks for clearing that up.
Glad you enjoyed it! You can also read our article on the NHR regime and get a free consultation in case you want to get a Portuguese residency with the Portugal Golden Visa or HQA Visa. Hello, thanks for this. How about the short stay (temporary) visa and not the D7 that does not involve opening a Portuguese bank account? The one that only requires the minimum monthly requirement? Thank you
The only short-stay visa that doesn’t require opening a bank account and doesn't have staying conditions is the Schengen visa, which has a period of 90 days. However, it doesn’t guarantee entry to Portugal, as you must first substantiate the reason for entry - documents that confirm the purpose of your visit.
Hello. I’m trying to relocate from USA for a quite long time as a retirée with a monthly passive SS income and some savings. Not eligible for Golden Visa. How I can start the whole process of relocation? Please, share any sites or agencies who can help with it. Final destination Madeira. Thanks. Elena.
Hello! Unfortunately our company doesn’t deliver such type of service currently. But we can suggest you explore Sotheby's website to find out more info about concierge service.
I would presume that a US citizen who has over $2000 per month in Social Security along with 10,000 Euros in a Portuguese bank account and other passive and digital incomes he will have a good looking application.
Yes, you’re free not only to travel to Portugal islands in the mid of northern Atlantic Ocean as well as you’re free to move anywhere in Europe that is part of Schengen area, country like France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands etc have free movement with people residents in portugal
@@silverismoney if you have a visa of any Schengen country you can go ANYWHERE in Schengen, it’s a total freedom of movement, freedom of movement doesn’t imply freedom of work, however a foreigner who has a work permit to work in a Schengen country can work anywhere in Schengen area if he is working to a company that is based in the Schengen country where he has the work permit. For instance, there are many foreigner truck drivers working in France to Portuguese companies holding work permit from Portugal. The only thing they can’t do is working to a company based in France
Hi, I have a question about Digital Nomads and D7 Visas. I am an american citizen retired from USA and I receive benefits from Social Security that allow me to live in Portugal comfortable, at the same time I am a Nasdaq Trader (I earn money with this activity). I meet the requirements for both Visas. Could you please let me know which one would you recommend me to apply? Thanks in advance. Thank you for your very interesting videos.
Hello …, thanks for the question! Digital Nomads and D7 Visa are the same thing. You may also be interested in considering fund investments applying for the Golden Visa. But unfortunately, our company does not provide D7 visa processing services.
Excellent Video with very valuable information. May I know the name of your company and if you assist in the D7 visa process and what are your charges for 3 adult applicants from one family. Each one will meet the financial requirements of the Visa.

you are extremely credible, grounded, informative.
Great informative insights on this subject. Oh, and a very handsome host.
How does one contact that lady for a D7? her website does not appear to be functioning
such a great video!
When was this video made?
if one has a Portuguese residency , are they able to go to all of Schengen Zone without issues ?

So you think Madeira may work on their 'own' nomad visa?
Thanks

Question: We are in Portugal on the D7 visa, living on the mainland. Are we free to move to Madeira? Or do we have to stay on the mainland?

Madeira is part of Portugal, same way as Lisbon, no diference at all.
@@LHollan But a Schengen visa does not give one the ability to "move anywhere in Europe" that is part of it. It allows you to visit, not work or stay.

Can the D2 visa be applied through opening an activity instead of establishing the company?
Good afternoon! Unfortunately, we don’t work with such type of visa and cannot provide competent information.
