One thing you've missed in my opinion. There was a new motion Brand called Sim-Reactor. It's a 3 DOF 120mm heave Bolt on set for 3k Euro. It's made in Germany, compared to others it has a small form factor and the price is amazing. It felt good and because we are in the market for motion, we bought one on the way home. Can recommend to check them out! (Still a very small brand, we haven't got it delivered home yet and I'm excited for it, so take it with a pinch of salt)
Good to see Fanatec releasing new products. Hopefully, they will release more products within the next few years that interest me like a bundle with a new ClubSport 280mm all-rounder wheel, new ClubSport active pedals, and a ClubSport DD.

The worst part of these super pricey rims is that some of them aren't even that great. I tried a LOT of them at the expo yesterday and I was in absolute shock at how flimsy the buttons and dials felt on some of these 1000+€ rims (looking at you, GSI and Ascher). Also very inconsistent "hardness" of the buttons, some wheels had super soft buttons but super stiff rotaries, while others were the exact opposite. It just doesn't make sense to me how this can get past quality control on such an expensive luxury product, like buttons that just wiggle around when you touch them and don't have clear tactile feedback.
As long as it's Fanatec's software team continuing to develop it, most of corsair's software has been absolutely horrible. iCUE especially is a resource hog that fails constantly, since uninstalled everything corsair from my system.
If they started using a marketing funnel that would help. Starting with creating awareness, let's say tease the audience upfront. So everybody wants to know more about it.

Unfortunately no, not unless you grab a TH8-A, switch it to sequential, and bind it as a handbrake instead of shifter. It won't be progressive, still just an on-off button. This is unless TM releases a newer handbrake offering, which might happen since the released the much less expensive H pattern shifter recently.
Honestly, don't understand how simagic doesn't have more attention. They are by far the best bang for buck company that exists on the market. The alpha mini is better than r12 and dd 8nm by a sizable amount (i say with a fair few hours all 3) for the same price nearly. Not to mention, the quality gap between the wheels is absurd. The Simagic GTS wheel is absurd quality for money. A full metal construction quality leather and carbon fiber paddles metal switches and knobs for $330? It's by far the best wheel on the market in terms of price for money market right now. I wish they made the gt neo the same price to give it a more quality contruction but on that front i need to use that wheel myself.
No VR? They really need to start focusing on the simracing market. People are used to dumping huge money into the hobby and are desperate for better FOV.

Like most industries there is an ebb and flow. After years of belt and gear driven wheel bases for entry level, there are many quality direct drive wheel bases can be found relatively cheaply. It looks like the next big thing is wheels. These improvements will trickle down to mid and entry level eventually. I don't need a screen on my wheel but it is cool to see. My old android phone strapped to my g920 will have to do for now

Is it just me or is the wheel that you're using at 0:27 a new wheel by Fanatec? It looks a lot like the McLaren GT3 wheel but with shift lights.
Pretty sure its the Podium button model endurance, with a new GT style wheel rim. The button placements are the exact same
