God I have a real strange fascination for FOCOM! Unfortunately a nightmare to get running on a modern system, straight up artificating out on modern AMD GPUs, oh how much I would give for a Steam release!
Force Commander had such a great sense of immersion
FOCOM had a really good story but also a great variety of recognizable actors to voice the characters. (I still have hope it’ll get picked up on digital stores soon like GoG)
It kind of reminds me of the ground battles from Empire at War in many ways

Yes! That game will come up later this season. But yes.. although EaW was way better.
Force Commander had much better sense of scale and felt more immersive because it wasn't as arcady/streamlined for impatient players
The soundtrack is weirdly entertaining, somehow reminds me of Robot Chicken Star Wars?

Force Commander and Rebellion are the only two titles that I haven't extensively played. They're in my collection but they're far too dated for me though Rebellion particularly still has a mod scene afaik
