I think not taking ourselves too seriously is a good way to go. It fosters playfulness. Being willing to make a fool of ourselves is the game of truly showing up in my opinion.

Real life is not perfect. It's messy and fun and goofy and things happen that you don't expect. What you did in sharing your video, despite technical difficulties, was lead by example. You showed people that you can push through difficulties and still reach a goal. You don't have to give up just because everything doesn't go perfectly. Things happen and that's just real life! I love that you're truly sharing your authentic experience! Keep going! 💐

Some people learn how to be bold early in life, but for those of us who don't, aging seems to bring those lessons along gently. Less self-consciousness, more focus on what makes life meaningful. Just the reminder of your 5 pixel face and the arrow makes me smile, and your flood of emotions were so relatable and endearing. It was perfectly imperfect.

I love your honesty & attitude. Consistency & quick recovery & honesty after mistakes are far more important than high quality production & lighting. I'm learning to 'embrace the suck' and post videos more regularly, but I've got aload of projects waiting for me to sort my storage issues (ep 4 of a podcast that's a year overdue).
I'm determined to get there, so that's the 1st step. I try to show my learning in my videos & I love that you do that too. I'm here for the journey, not for a perfect product 😊
