Well. Welcome aboard! That is probably the single most hilarious military clip ever made. This one's pretty funny too though. Ha. Your English is Bad. Ha. To a British ship.
“Your English is very poor” bro they are literally English.
So funny.
Tbf British is sometimes hard to understand
It's actually British type of sarcastic humour, that got that and why they were laughing.
When I was in the Navy, we always knew something bad was about to happen when that music came out of nowhere.
Ha.
2:32 is a funny thing, also a pretty human moment in a very tense geopolitical situation.
Yeah no kidding.
His problem with their English was they gave them a 500 “yard” warning, they were expecting the Brits to use metres
Ah, yes, that well-known unit of measure, the nautical metre.
2:18 my mans helmet is on backwards...🤦♂
It really isnt. The Navy doesnt use the same pattern helmet as the army.
@Festivejelly lol... yes it is. The pattern has nothing to do with helmet placement. I'll educate you if needed.
idk if it is, the straps look like they are the correct length for the front and back but who knows
Yeah, it is. Nice spot. 😆
Do you think his shipmates make fun of him behind his back for it, or are they too Navy to notice? (Retired Army here).
One comment says this situation occurred in Iranian waters. The commentor probably doesn’t understand international rules.
fr Hormoz is Iranian water
No its not. Its international waters.
Didn't understand the English... sure as heck understood the barrels suddenly pointing at them though XD
Yeah that's for sure
U heard of the international language of love.😂 This is the international language of fuck around and find out
Turn the music down so we can hear better
"If you get within 500 meters I will illuminate you with a flare. If you get within 250 meters, I will call your mother names, 100 meters and you not get any scones with your tea. Over".
We should bring back PT Boats.
Fortunately it was the RN and not the US.
Yes correct it's the HMS Duncan.

Is there a longer video about this situation ?
I don't think so. But this type of interaction occurs every single day.
How many channels can show this video ?
International waters
I was expecting a confrontation.
There was a confrontation. One party backed down.
Whats your intentions lol..... We come with cup cakes........
Ha. Yeah right.
Battle Stations! Battle Stations! Battle Stations!
Yup
Sepa navy is on top fr. Persian gulf is for sepa navy.
The Iranians are absolutely adorable ☺️
@JamesBond
Aren’t they just little cuties. Threatening all around them, beating women for not being ‘modest’, sending missiles to Putin to continue his war with Ukraine. I presume you live in Iran or applied for a Residents Visa.
Come on its their land, not yours,
Typical overreaching powers not caring about anyone else sovereignty
I mean... given the royal navy's history they have really toned it down a lot in the last few hundred years lol
It's an international straight and a gunship was heading to a civilian ship. Can u explain what you think is wrong with the vid?
That is 100 percent correct of the Iranians, attacking international shipping in international waters, is absolutely overreaching. I agree.

Why closing your comments?
Also closing up on Iran's water and you get a warning
dangerous? Yes by going this close to boarder you playing a dangerous game
And with history like yours I don't blame my country to show actions
@@yousofsalmani8552 Closing comments? What do you mean? This ship is from Great Britain. As far as the Strait of Hormuz, it's international waters. Doesn't belong to anyone and is governed by the international COLREGS. So in your opinion its is ok for a countries Navy to attack a peaceful merchant vessel in international waters?
@@yousofsalmani8552 And also stuff like this. Tense Situation: US Intercepts Iranian Missiles Bound for Houthis! @ruclips.net/video/9fcrTJ8mt6E/видео.html
Peaceful? You're full of shit.
Sounds like the British navy has soon forgotten how Iran seized their ship ! And once many years ago they arrested British navy men who had trespassed the territory . Just be fair and show some other videos substantiating how Iran's navy humiliated both The US and The UK men in the Persian gulf.
if this is fars bay arent the british invading our ground?
No. It is international waters
No its in the Strait
THAT IS THEIR FUCKING WATER THEY HAVE EVERY FUCKING RIGHT !
No, international waters belong to everyone.
@AmericanMilitaryNetwork That is the point, British and American military enter the Iranian territory and make them to react and then they claim that they were in international waters
@@alifarzaneh2726other guys an American puppet. He’s gonna keep bringing up dumb reasonings to justify their acts. There’s a reason why there’s hundreds of American military bases all around Iran. What business does America have poking around in other countries anyways?
@alifarzaneh2726 international waters belong to everyone. There is no territory owned, no passport required.
Tell that to the Chinese navy and their fishing militia

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know right.
Iran LITERALLY OWNS THE HORMOZ it's like passing through someone's door without their permission. And don't talk big, a USA gunboat once got caught by Iranian coast guard they literally pissed their pants 😕
That's not true at all. The Strait of Hormuz is international waters. There is an internationally recognized traffic pattern past 12 miles offshore. That's a similar argument to saying United States owns the Florida Straits or Gulf of Mexico. The Straits of Florida are international waters and used by vessels of all Nations every single day, including military vessels. They travel unhindered.
@aintreal301
The Straits of Hormuz are bordered by three countries, not one, Iran, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Iran has no right to claim the Straits under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
By the way I will be most interested to learn about your claim about the Iranians catching a US gunboat and causing them to ‘literally’ piss their pants. Until then, you need to get out more and a little less of your ignorance and BS.
0:23 Illegal and dangers?! Dude I think you almost forgot that you were in near their area border, and it is their right to protect their border with escort all navy or ships going closer to their border
International waters of the Strait of Hormuz. No country owns international waters.
Educate yourself…
@@AmericanMilitaryNetwork Why does the British Navy seize the Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Gibraltar, which is an international waterway? Why did the United States hijack an Iranian oil tanker in international waters and steal its oil for itself? Didn't these events happen in open and international waters?!
@@a_s_mikaelwho cares? F iran
What are you talking about? Post a link.
It's easy the British navy are escorting a british tanker in hostile Iranian waters so it doesn't become a hostage I understand the situation if you don't you must be a snowflake that takes everything as aggression
All true except it's international waters, that the Iranians incorrectly declare as their waters.
bs
Whats BS?
@@AmericanMilitaryNetworkasks the British what that would be 😜
See, that's the difference between British and American ships. They won't warn an American ship, an American ship will point all guns big and small at the Iranian one. The message is usually pretty clear. Out of the way or out of the water.
They're lucky it was the Royal Navy. They're more willing to avoid a dispute.
What are you yappin? The same happens in the persian gulf with US navy ships😂 go look it up this is standard
The US Coast Guard and Navy deal with this daily. The US handles the Iranians in a peaceful professional manner every single day in protecting international shipping in the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz.

these guys are using proper grammar and words these afagans never heard of "stay 500 feet of the boat or we will iredicate you in a flare"
They are Iranian not Afghan.
They were Iranian please dont misunderstand with Afghan
IRANIAN NOT AFGHAN
Define iredicate 😂
and yall american never heard of "fuck off to your country and don't come near our boarders"
The crazy part is it’s Iranian waters!! Like why are tbe British lurking in their waters??? If Iranian destroyers were in the English channel it would be a issue!
And even crazier. It's not Iranian Waters. And even crazier, if they weren't and the Iranians were successful in closing the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz and 30% of the world energy just up and vanished you wouldn't have your cellphone or electricity or Internet to complain about the British giving you a cellphone and electricity and Internet.
