I've been told that, in the movie, Yamato shoots down more planes in the final battle then she actually did in the entire war. She had an epic crapload of AA guns but Japanese AA guns were not know for being overly effective.
@@xsu-is7vq It could not even hit where it aimed at. The Yamato was build to intimidate and keep the Americans from using the Panama Channel. And it could have been a great way to bombard airfields. But history decided otherwise, maybe for the best.

I think its a cost issue, making the set strong enough to last years and have tourists trample all over is a lot more expensive than a temp partial set. Probably having to fulfil Japanese building code requirements is a tough thing. But yes, I would pay to visit a 1:1 replica.
I ever win the lottery, I'll see what I can do. Though considering the original ship cost some 8 billion to build... EDIT: I've seen figures between 2.5 billion and 8 billion. I've now tried my own calculations and come to 1.3 billion. Regardless, the largest lottery jackpot in the US was 1.58 billion. Not much left then for upkeep lol

Because Russian Fantasy Ships don't follow the rules of game balance]

The CV meta finally got me to stop playing this cancer game. Together with the rip off attempts WG went for (container description vs actual chances/content). It was and still is the only game I ever stopped playing because of the unprecedent greed on the side of the developers to really also squeeze the very last penny out of its player base.

She took over 40 torpedoes before she got sunk by USN. In WW2 Battleships became obsolete because its the aircraft carriers' era.
