Just returned from Cabos. Cabo Transfers is a great Shuttle Service, super fast email replies; Driver Juan even brought me some local beer. I also took the buses and they were fast too, even back to the airport. Cabos is a pleasant paradise. We will go back.
So I’m assuming you used the Uber app? It worked ok? Or did you actually “call” Uber? We are staying 3 nights a one resort and 3 at another, so I’m trying to figure out the logistics here. Great video thank you.
@@darinwallace3607 ok great! Thank you. I’m wondering if the Breathless resort will let them in to pick us up, or if we’ll have to haul our luggage outside the property? And same for dropping us off.
Thank you for sharing the video. I have few questions: Do they call Uber for you from the store, or you use your phone? If I rent a car, is it easy to find parking? If I decided to take a taxi, Can I get cash from the airport?
You can use your phone, it's super easy but some hotels ask you to stand outside of the gate when you do it. Parking is easy at the resorts and ports :)
@@GabrielFamilyAdventures thank you. I have one more question. My aunt is in Los Cabos now, she could not find the store! Do you need to walk outside the airport to reach it? She said its not safe walking outside as there is no walk way.
Well done! So glad I found your video, it's just what I was looking for. Did you book activities before getting there? What other activities would you recommend for families?
Thanks! Definitely do a sunset cruise or one of the glass bottom boats. If your kids are a little older than mine I would do a zip line tour as well. It's super fun.
Gabriel Family Adventures so just got back from Cabo and Uber is still in action but now there are policies I guess that uvers can pick up from the airport or hotels or any place contracted with taxi companies...so for example at our hotel if we called a taxi they’d pick us us right at the front lobby door of the hotel but Uber couldn’t enter onto the property to pick up...we had to walk to the street for the pick up. The drop off however is fine..same for airport.
Best option to visit Cabo is to go there on a Cruise like I did it was great, you basically get off at the dock and walk all the way around the harbor till you locate a boat that will take you to El Arco, and ask them how much they want for a trip out, and whatever price they quote you take off 25%, yeah you heard me right, so $20 becomes $15, if you are really a sharpshooter you can bargain even harder and get 50% discount, or walk away, it works wonders, I got my trip for $15, a few other cruisers paid $25 each so this proves you must grind down the price hard, or else you're getting ripped off big time. Have you ever rented a car in Cabo, I heard they are about $45 from National Rent a Car, which is reasonable for Mexico, I have paid over $100 for a car in Anchorage AK, so $45 is ok. I would love to visit Cabo again and stay for a couple of days instead of the 7 hours we got, Princess offers cruises that go exclusively to Cabo for a 2-day stay, not a bad deal considering all-inclusive. Great Video guys. 👍🏼
I've never rented a car because Uber and taxis are so easy. We've been to Cabo 10+ times and I love it. It's so easy, great weather, nice people. It's definitely a different experience if you stay in a resort. If you go for a few days I recommend checking out resorts in San Jose del Cabo since you've already experienced downtown Cabo San Lucas :)
@@GabrielFamilyAdventures Ah Uber and Lyft, they are definitely great but restrictive, I would want to rent a car and explore the entire coast from one destination to another at my own pace, guess you could do that with a Taxi, Uber not so sure, in the end renting a car might be more cost-effective in my case.
That’s sad that people lowball people in other countries that are trying to make a living and then come back to the US and complain that people don’t tip lol
Why would anyone use Uber they destroy local business for a global shared own company , that's just crazy. Convienence over what a few measly dollars the locals need more.
@@briannwo1900 Wow! I was just looking at it online and it's gorgeous. Okay time to work on the husband and get him to book us a trip this summer. Thanks for telling me about it :)
Gabriel Family Adventures Only reason I mentioned the resort was that I knew you love the Marival Residences and thought maybe you had a scoop on the place since it's a Marival resort. We are going to Vallarta for our 1st time in November and probably need to decide soon where to stay. With the seaweed situation in the Caribbean the resorts on the Pacific side of Mexico are going to get heavy Business is my prediction. Only really interested in the Hard Rock Vallarta or possibly this new Marival resort ? I know your not a huge Hard Rock Vallarta fan but we loved the one in the Riviera Maya and nothing else in Vallarta really does it for me to be honest plus you can usually get a Costco deal on it. Just came back from Secrets Akumal last week. Couples paradise if you ever get the chance ! Also a Costco deal. And no I don't work for Costco. Haha.
We loved the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, I just thought the Vallarta one was too small and needed some upkeep. I've heard that the Hyatt Ziva in Puerto Vallarta is a great balance of quality and a reasonable price. We might go to the Marival Armony for Thanksgiving so I won't be able to give you a review until then :(. It looks awesome though!
Thank you for the video.... We are heading to Cabo for the first time in two months. A little nervous about transportation issues.

What is the name of the Convenient Store?
Great video…How do I find the little store at the airport that you mentioned where I can order Ubers to?
Hi! So so do you recommend calling an uber to get anywhere for example from the resort to the marina?
So I’m assuming you used the Uber app? It worked ok? Or did you actually “call” Uber? We are staying 3 nights a one resort and 3 at another, so I’m trying to figure out the logistics here. Great video thank you.
Uber app works well in Cabo. I've used it several times with no issues.

@@scottsworld21 If I remember correctly, they can drive right up to Breathless. It's a circle driveway that also serves as a marina pick up/drop off.
@@darinwallace3607 awesome thank you so much!
Can you recommend transportation company?
Where is that airport convenient store you were speaking of?
Whats the best option as far as currency? Can I use USD for my entire stay?
Yes, all we use is American dollars. Take lots of ones, fives and tens. No one has change here lol
What's the best way to get rides in town for a group of 12? Still Uber?
Going to Cabo’s first week of January. Any update on airport transportation? Can we sill call a Uber from that secret hack?
I haven't been back to Cabo since that trip but I haven't heard that anything has changed.
More less how much was the Uber ? I’m staying at Cabo

Gabriel Family Adventures is it better to book activities in advance online or wait until you’re there to bargain?
to much talk! . can you get uber ? where outside! of the air port! .. tooo much talk!
What ATV experience would you recommend?
Vallarta Adventures is a good and reputable company and I believe they have expanded over to Cabo and go by Cabo Adventures.
Super helpful info thank you!!
any tips on renting cars? At the moment I know to certainly pay for full Mexican insurance when you are there on site.
I'm sop sorry but I've never rented a car in Mexico. Uber and taxis are so easy that we have always used those means to get around.
Thank you so much such great trips for our family!
You're very welcome!
Did you bring car seats or it wasn’t necessary?
You don't need to but it's always safer to have them
The hotel we booked at was offering 8 $/day car rental , would you ever recommend driving in cabo...any experience on that?
I would take that price if you plan on leaving your resort/hotel a lot. It's a pretty easy place to drive.
Which hotel is this? Does this happen at most hotels?
Love the video! Do you remember the name of The convenience store by any chance? Thank you!
How late does Uber run in Cabo?
Did you get answer to this question?
@@susheelbajaj9879 they run all night. However you need to get a private service from the airport
how much were your uber rides typically?
Not very expensive, maybe $20 depending on where you go.
Hi. How is it taken out of your bank account? Is it just like a regular ride in the US or is there a conversion fee each time?
I see this video is from a year ago. I heard that Uber was banned in Cabo. Is that true or is it still available?
I was trying to find out the same thing headed there is week
Eric Reyes i curious to know
