We drove down to Embrun to watch the stage 18 and then the start of stage 19 from Embrun. Bumped into the EF EasyPost team at the hotel before they set off for the start area. I’ve been watching the tour since I was a kid and nothing prepares you for seeing it live. Amazing atmosphere and experience. 100% positive experience of France! Managed to ride Alpe d’Huez and the Col de Noyer the day before the tour. Highlight was my son getting given Carapaz’s bottle (just been filled for the race) from his stage win on the Col de Noyer stage. Unreal experience. Glad you had a fantastic experience, now time to move to France 😉
