Day Trip from Kiev - Top 5 Things to Do in Chernihiv

DAY TRIP FROM KYIV / KIEV. Day trips aren't really a "thing" in Ukraine (yet), but I'll be chronicling some one-day destinations from Kyiv, starting with Chernigov/Chernihiv and the TOP 5 THINGS TO DO in this 10th century city. Included are: Red Square, St. Anthony Monastery & Caves, Hulbische Kurgan, Besimyaniy Kurgan, WWII Monument + Eternal Flame, Trinity Monastery, Eletsky Monastery, St. Boris & Gleb Cathedral, Black Grave Burial Mound, and Chernigivske Beer.

Hope you enjoyed your staying in Che! that's a cool video but it doesn't show all the beauty of our city. It's a pity you missed the Rampart with all the churches and the St.Katherine's church. And you really should have tried the beer in Bierwelle - a private Chernihiv brewery ;)
Moreover, there are lot's of interesting places to see around the city besides Boldyny Hills.)

Nice video....I'm guessing once you get outside of Kiev it gets harder and harder to find people that speak English?

Thanks! Hmm...Chernihiv has *some* tourism because of the Caves, so I think an English-speaker would be okay - honestly, I think the hardest part would be getting out of the city, since there aren't a lot of marshrutki drivers who speak English (I'd ask the fellow passengers for help)
