I've had my bottle a few years now. I also grow datura lol. The scent is AMAZING! It's quite a strong scent. Hold onto your hats folks! I LOVE IT
Finallyyy! 😍 I have a sample of this, and I love it because it has something creamy and warm, it reminds me a warm summery night soft breeze, but unfortunately on my skin it lasts three maximum four hours, and then has completely disappeared. I'm poor!😢 I feel bad spending that money for that lasting, but ay me, I really appreciate the fragrance. Ciao ciao ❤

I just blind bought this one and I’m so glad you made a video review on it ,I typically don’t go for serge Lutons fragrances but this one intrigues me because it smells like terracotta only better

It’s the perfect almond fragrance! Smells like L’occitane almond wash but of course in a smoother, more sophisticated way.

I'm wearing this right now, on a very warm day, and I'm sitting here nodding like a fool at everything you're saying. This really is the smoothest, most elegant, most nuanced of summertime fragrances. Really lovely - and yes, it's very suave and well behaved for a Serge Lutens fragrance.

Just ordered this masterpiece yesterday and I really hope it's my cup of tea since I am a big fan of coconut tuberose and almond...I hate blind buy but I believe it won't let me down 😂
This is one of my absolute favourite parfumes. Have been wearing in rotation for a decade. Yes, there's is actually datura in the parfume according to Sergé Lutens. Lutens is notorious for not listing all the ingredients/notes. This is an intoxicating perfume.

Hi! I have Datura metel double purple in my garden, and at night it emanates the most exquisite aroma I have ever known, it uses it to attract insects so maybe I am one of them because it is hypnotic😂 👋🏻

ouch110 Fragrance Reviews SO VERY MANY. Do all of them. Mein Favorite house... though it alternates from day to day and sometimes hour to hour
I was at the shops and looking into Un Bois Vanille because are a lot rave reviews about it. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with it as the woodsy aspect was not my type. I checked out the other Serge Lutens fragrance and Datura Noir really caught my attention. I always loved almond scents and this one definitely has that note! It smells warm, sweet but not cloying.
I have a bottle of this as well. To me it smells similar to Plum Japonaise by TF, but deeper - more like a dystopian fruit bowl.
Yes it is, I have Plum Japonais. This one has that coconut note too, but yeah I do get the Plum Japonais similarity. Such a beautiful perfume.
Just got this - I was worried it would be too much white floral as the opening is very strong - but you are right - it smoothed out into something wonderful and unusual! Doesn't last long so I'll have to keep applying:( So glad I got this one though
Got Jeux de peau too- it's nice as well - kinda spicy or dried fruit like which I didn't expect from the reviews saying it's like baked bread - kinda smell like Arabie

AHHHH! I had wanted to try this for my Halloween fragrance video but couldn't find any samples online (in the US). I'd read it was "haunting", but it sounds like it's more of an intoxicating beauty fragrance. Though it isn't sounding like what I expected, I want to try it even more!
Hello!! Haunting? Oh gosh no it's the exact opposite! It's a while floral sunny coconut. Not haunting but comforting! It's lovely, I want it!

Awe man I love Serge Lutens perfumes, I now own 17 bottles and there are 5 more I need to buy but they’re discontinued and therefore hard, if not impossible to find.

I don't think so, it's just a revamp of the packaging, they changed quite a few of their 50mls to 100ml in the new black bottles. :)
I m thinking to buy the older version 50 ml or the new package 100 ml.. decisions decisions

I love this perfume so much. Gorgeous.
This one just did not work on me, it smelled like baby powder hairspray on me so I ended up trading it. I'm a huge SL fan and it's been the only one I've tried that just repelled me. How is this so smooth on other people???? It was so scratchy, abrasive, back-of-the-throat, friggin' baby powder on me! So frustrating!

I feel similarly. It's like a floral scented baby powder, but everyone including my mom loves it. In fact my mom went crazy over it. So I gifted it to her :)
If this is poisonous then I’d be in real trouble because I want to eat this and roll around in it. I love marzipan, coconut, and white flowers. Why didn’t I find this sooner? Oh well I found you now gorgeous Datura.

Good isn't? intoxicating white flower and coconut/apricot. If you havn't tried daim blonde, then i think you may like it.

Just bought a bottle 1/2 price this week! It’s very nice, but it doesn’t last on me😢. It’s the only SL which doesn’t last.

It reminds me of reb'l fleur a bit but projection and silage is better.
I have this in my collection and love it, and I don’t even like gourmand scents usually!

@@ouch110 yes. But no real Datura in it. Just tge feel of night/twilight blooming Datura aka Angel Trumpet flowers.
