I've read in other posts, about how could you put so much responsibility on your older children...my response..This was family life 100 years ago! Keep on doing what y'all have too! Praying
exactly right but what they dont see is that its balance with mama bear and her family she isnt like how other families i have seen are and just sit on their behinds and do nothing and make the kids take care of each other. Her husband works, and mama bear also contributes to her family. She cooks, sews with them, spends time with them, takes them on trips, does videos to bring in some extra income, etc. So in return her children are more willing to help because it doesn't feel like a chore or they are forced to it feels like they are doing their part as a family so the bond is stronger with them and their younger siblings and not strained. The naysayers don't see it that way.
This is parenting right. Too many young adults can't boil water today. These kids are being raised as adults. Responsible adults that can fend for themselves in a hard world where the Government wants us all depending on 'them'. Great thing to see going on.
It's actually nice to hear all of the kids in the background and how you have taken them to see Azariah at the hospital. Many parents would have had other family members watch the kids or at least the little ones. As I said, you and your husband are doing a terrific job in everything especially when also being with Azariah. ❤

I was in hospital last year for a week and the food made my tummy so upset. I finally got my daughter to bring me a few things from home. Can't beat home cooking❤
So funny~ my husband & I just had this discussion tonight regarding well done meat. I had wrapped a bunch of chicken breasts in bacon & baked them for well over an hour, even though it's supposedly "done" after 30-35 minutes~ nope. Not only do we like our chicken well done, the bacon needs to be super crispy done too. Does the chicken get a bit dry? Yes, that's what alfredo or bbq sauce is for =) That you are still keeping this channel posted, still being mom, still making food for everyone, & doing so w/a cheerfulness is absolute testament to God's grace, to the peace He offers & you clearly recieve MB~ there's no other explanation that makes sense. Of course there are all kinds of emotions, all sorts of moments/hours/days that go along w/all of this, but that's not what I'm acknowledging here. Such an example of how different our lives are when God is at the forefront, is the foundation of our existence. There is solace & joy within His will~ & the beauty He makes of every occurance & outcome. All glory to GodSamantha

I was thinking how great you look so soon after giving birth. If I had just had my 15th + child I’d be recovering for a long time. God did give you that gift of a healthy body - although I know it’s not totally easy for you either. But you do have stamina. My mother had that stamina - it’s a Swedish thing. Anyway, isn’t the Boston traffic crazy! Safe travels as you commute especially as the winter roads make travel hazardous. Hopefully you can plan travel around the weather. I’m glad you had a break but I know you want to get back to Azariah. I was just thinking that when he was throwing up, do you think he had a stomach virus as well? That little guy has strong genes. If he’s anything like you, God has given him a strong fortitude! We do know God numbers all of our days, and we know whatever God chooses at least you’ve given him the best opportunity to live! I’m very proud of your testimony as a Christian to show the world that God gives life and all life is important. You, go, Azariah! Fight! You’ve jumped several hurdles already and blessed many people!
Thanks so much! No when he was throwing up there was something weird going on. The cooling he did slowed down his system. He didn’t poop the meconium and it caused lots of tummy issues
I prefer overcooked food than undercooked food. . That’s a wonderful idea taking your own food so that you don’t have to eat things that may make you sick.
So happy to see you eat some homeade meals! Having 15 kids I’m sure you already know the difference it makes during postpartum to eat nourishing home cooked meals with quality ingredients you definitely deserve that as does every mother! You’ve been pushing through on the hospital food for too long. Hopefully the healthy meals will help you feel more normal too and help with hormones and everything
A long, long time ago. I was only able to visit baby Noel, a couple of weekends a month. I was 14. I phoned from a phone box to enquire about him.....we didn't have a phone in the house. Even if we did have a phone, my mother would not have allowed me to phone the hospital.
We go to the cafeteria sometimes I get a large salad. We personally most of us don’t like clams. Occasionally I’ll make chowder for those who do. We trade with a local guy.
As far as responsibility, I was 13 years old, cooking for my entire family while my mother was taking courses for a special Ed program she was starting in her school. When I was 14 we moved. Usually we moved our own belongings but this time we had a moving van. I was the sole person responsible for the movers packing and unpacking. My mother worked so all of us children had our chores from the time we were little. I started working in the garden early on - I don’t remember when I didn’t. I had to weed a row and say Bible verses and my dad would give me a dime for the pool. We all pitched in on all family chores. My kids did as well when they were growing up. Many men and women join the military at 17 - go to war at 18. You have older teens as well as adult children. Many young ladies your daughters’ age have families. So my point is that they are very responsible and capable. You’ve raised them well. I’m sure you can rest assured that they are in good hands. Bravo! Responsibility is a good thing. So don’t let anyone say they do too much. There’s always going to be naysayers. But the good thing about the naysayers is that their comments contribute to the channels monetary value.
Since I have removed processed foods from my diet, physically I feel so much better. I’m sure by you going back to your normal eating habits you will be feeling ready to face the day to day stress of getting Zachariah through his health battles.
mommabear ,i noticed you using the potatos when green please do not , very bad for you and kids ,Solanine: Potatoes turn green when they are stored improperly or damaged, which leads to high levels of solanine, a toxic chemical. Solanine can cause headaches, nausea, neurological problems, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and sweating. The risk of illness is higher for children
Sigh I’ll share in another video. The women rented it out to a mom in need. Which is good. I think the Lord was looking out for us because I could see the neighborhood and such if it was safe. Anyhow we are looking. I’ll share what we look at mom or Tues going to see another place tomorrow
I noticed over 5,000 views and so far only 700 or so likes, so if you view please like and comment to bless Momma Bear. I am not affiliated with the channel - just another subscriber who wants to see her blessed especially through these tough times. Also watch at least 30 seconds of ads that are that long.
You definitely need these home cooked meals, your body has said the pizza was nice but let’s get back to normal now please! The process of browning meat like you have is called the Maillard reaction, I copied this bit from Google- It's a chemical reaction that occurs when amino acids and sugars in food are heated above 140°C (284°F). This reaction produces brown pigments called melanoidins, and gives food a more complex flavor. I’m the same as you I like my meat cooked well, and my vegetables too because I don’t really like the crunch personally. Xx
Oh bless you, soup is basically whatever brith or stock you like. (or even water) add veggies and protein of your choice. Blend to the texture you like. No real rules. Taste and season as you like. Its a case of sticking it in a pot. Classic combinations leek and potato (cook in half milk half stock to make it creamier) Broccoli and cheese. Corn chowder of course. Look in the fridge, stick stuff in a pot blend eat with crusty bread. Yummy.
Chicken looks yummy, it is not burnt, just nice and crispy! The only meat I like "undercooked" is steak, gotta be medium rare for me on the rare occasion that I do buy steak or go out to eat. I love your calm demeanor with the noise and confusion of all the kids running around. I love to hear kids playing and having fun, mine are in their 30's and I miss that. My children do not have any, yet, but my stepdaughter has 3 but one just graduated and other 2 are in high school. Bless you mama and prayers for you all and the baby.
Are you speaking of the video that I made a bunch of soups? If so we left directly from the campground down to MA in an emergency type situation. We live 7 hours away so we have not gone back to get them yet.

Yes the do actually!
Yummy ❤❤❤ hugs and prayers to you all 💙👣🙏
Thanks so much
A long, long time ago. I was only able to visit baby Noel, a couple of weekends a month. I was 14. I phoned from a phone box to enquire about him.....we didn't have a phone in the house. Even if we did have a phone, my mother would not have allowed me to phone the hospital.
❤🫂
Hugs
Great work preparing meals .You need the nutrients at this time ! Homecoming is the best ❤ sending prayers your way 🙏
Thanks so much
YUM!
How are the clams in Maine? Brigham and Women's has delicious healthy food options if you ever make it to the cafeteria.
❤❤❤😊😅Yes 🥰😂❣️
Thank you for sharing! I loved to hear this!
Two year olds can be the most adorable little narcissists on the planet sometimes, can't they? 😂
Can you please post when time permits the corn chowder recipe and broccoli soup recipe thanks
I don’t really have a recipe honestly I would need to figure one out
Since I have removed processed foods from my diet, physically I feel so much better. I’m sure by you going back to your normal eating habits you will be feeling ready to face the day to day stress of getting Zachariah through his health battles.
I agree! My meat has to be well done too!
mommabear ,i noticed you using the potatos when green please do not , very bad for you and kids ,Solanine: Potatoes turn green when they are stored improperly or damaged, which leads to high levels of solanine, a toxic chemical. Solanine can cause headaches, nausea, neurological problems, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and sweating. The risk of illness is higher for children
They are actually potatoes from home they are ok just got a bit of sun. I won’t use store bought green ones though.
@@mommabear2many no momma bear no green ones good for you store or home grown, just looking out for you x
@@dianelopes8199it sounds like she is comfortable eating the homegrown green potatoes. She has likely used them before without any problems.
@@songbirds3712 yes for sure ,just sometimes someone might not know ,so just bit helpful thought in case they dont know ,
@@dianelopes8199you are absolutely correct, store bought or home grown makes no difference.
Looks very nutritious. Sending love and prayers ❤
Thanks so much
Good job momma ! Looks delicious ❤
Thank you 😋
Food looks good. I saw your post yesterday on FB, about looking for a rental. I thought you had a rental lined up for November?
Sigh I’ll share in another video. The women rented it out to a mom in need. Which is good. I think the Lord was looking out for us because I could see the neighborhood and such if it was safe. Anyhow we are looking. I’ll share what we look at mom or Tues going to see another place tomorrow
9:56 I also like overcooked chicken 😂 my husband hates it but has gotten use to it.
lol 😂
Seasoning and broth takes food to the next level.
I agree!
If you go to store in Yarmouth called Job Lot they have cheap spices.
Xoxo ❤
I noticed over 5,000 views and so far only 700 or so likes, so if you view please like and comment to bless Momma Bear.
I am not affiliated with the channel - just another subscriber who wants to see her blessed especially through these tough times.
Also watch at least 30 seconds of ads that are that long.
Thank you you are so sweet!
You could get a small jar of powdered bullion in place of broth at least for now.
Yes I probably will I was looking at target. Might order and ship on amazon
Xx
Interesting thanks for sharing!
growing up my mom cooked all meat well done. 😅 my husband cooks it just enough to not get sick. 😂
What do you prefer?
@@mommabear2many well done unless it's steak!
You look better
I definitely like all my meat well done .. everything looked delicious
Thank you 😋
That looked delicious!! I’m 60 years young and have never been able to master making soup!
Oh bless you, soup is basically whatever brith or stock you like. (or even water) add veggies and protein of your choice. Blend to the texture you like. No real rules. Taste and season as you like.
Its a case of sticking it in a pot.
Classic combinations leek and potato (cook in half milk half stock to make it creamier)
Broccoli and cheese.
Corn chowder of course.
Look in the fridge, stick stuff in a pot blend eat with crusty bread. Yummy.
@@elizabethwittig3930 thank you so much!!
Great tips I hope the bless her as well as others. Thank you
Chicken looks yummy, it is not burnt, just nice and crispy!
I can’t wait for the day we have grandbabies so special!
I can't eat underdone meat or poultry either. Red, or even pink, hamburgers are a no go for me. 😝
Same blah
You said in the beginning you were taking soups to microwave at the hospital.
She did
Are you speaking of the video that I made a bunch of soups? If so we left directly from the campground down to MA in an emergency type situation. We live 7 hours away so we have not gone back to get them yet.
