Hmm, after reading your comment I went back to see and yes, thanks for pointing that out. Our 1-litre Nalgene does indeed fit. I must have had it packed to the seams at the time which makes it tough to fit one in there. Thanks for the feedback!
I have the ULA Epic. Not only an excellent backpacking pack, but also an excellent packrafting and canoe pack. It's carry comfort cannot be beat in my opinion. Only 3 lbs including the 65L drybag it comes with
Suggestion. Put the stuff you only need when you make camp at the bottom of the eureka and then put the canvas pack inside the eureka on top of the less needed stuff. Then you can access stuff you need regularly with less hassle.

I have all my stuff for solo in the 75l traditional canoe packs don't fit in my Wenonah
