Thank you Stallone for making "first blood" , i blame that movie for my strong sense of social justice feelings, i have always had a strong feeling of social justice, that homeless people are people too, and i think it is because i saw rambo when i was 12. the way those policemen treated John Rambo angered me so much, it stuck with me through life. im now 46, but still feel the same. i try to help those less fortunate all the time. because of you.

When David Morrell sold the film rights to _First Blood,_ his lawyer wanted to charge him an extra $500 to have a clause put in the contract allowing him to participate in merchandising and sequel rights. "What do you mean, merchandising and sequels?" Morrell said. "This book is about a psycho killer! Who would want to make toys and lunchboxes about that? And how could there be a sequel? Everybody's dead at the end!" His lawyer told him, gently, "You don't understand Hollywood. They can do anything with this book. Hell, they could make it into a musical if they wanted." So Morrell agreed to pay the $500. He later said that it was the best $500 he ever spent. That clause in his contract made him millions.
