Thank you! I don't think it includes any new features right now. Feature parity is the goal for the end of this month I believe. But going forwards, it may be that new features only come to the new client. And certainly I will cover them here 😊
Could you please elaborate, because I am not sure I understand what you mean. I have my phoneline/phonenumber in "new teams" and I can't say I miss any functionality. That said, I don't use call queues etc., but we have users who does.
Hi, thanks a lot for the video, we notice one drawback regarding the fact that with the new teams version you cannot share your screen without calling the person, do you know how to fix it?
We are currently dealing with Microsoft support as the bulk installer keeps getting pushed back and for testing purposes we have been deploying it through powershell. It’s definitely faster than 1.0.
Are you planning to roll out Teams 2.0 when it becomes available in September? Let me know in the comments below.

Teams Phone features are sorely lacking in the new version of Teams.
Maybe those features will appear by the end of August. I’m assuming you wouldn’t recommend Teams 2.0 for Teams Phone users at this point?

Interesting, didn’t know there was any other way to install it at the moment other than flipping the toggle switch in the legacy client.
