    OMG OMG OMG !!!!!! 😍😍 Thank you so much for this easy tutorial video. And yes, i crocheted along following your instructions and it was so easy to follow and you have made it so simple to understand. ☺️ I've been searching for a long time for an easy written pattern or video of this vest. Finally here, I've got one.
    Love, from India 😁😁😁

    Question after I do the ten rounds end of last video then we do three stitches then three double or four because first you say three and show three then at the end of the round looks like four double?.

    • @chibiskittles
      @chibiskittles 8 лет назад

      i did four to keep the next row even.

      Corinna Warmath, I thought it was just me that saw that, she says do 3 doubles and 3 chains in between but at the end there's 4 doubles and 2 chains between. I did the round without looking on further so inow have to frog

    • @yolandasotolopez

      You need to do 4.,.. when in doubt do what I am doing in the video.. sometimes my brain is going too fast for my hands.

      Oh no it wasn't a criticism, I should have watched the whole video before doing it, I was just so eager to do it, I always do that, I should know by now, it didn't take long to redo anyway. This is my first CAL and loving it, thank you

    I used lion brand mandala yarn and it took me less than 2 cakes to make the regular vest

    It’s a good idea when buying Cakes yarn that you look at the center. Buy similiar centers if that’s how your pattern goes, or if that’s the repeat you like. If not, cut off the yarn you don’t care for, and connect your next cake with the color you wish to begin with.

    I made the plus size using Yarn Bee Fireside yarn mainly because I bought I box of yarn at a yard sale. There was 6- 6 oz skeins of burgundy so I decided to make this and add sleeves. Since I'm a plus size I needed more yarn. For those who are curious to try this pattern in another variety of yarn like I did, it took 9- 6 oz skeins for plus size and 7- 6 oz skeins for regular size.

      Forgot to say that was with long sleeves added.

      For plus size do you follow this video and just add more to bottom?

    hi Yolanda, which one is it , you said chain 3 on the row after the the 10 rows of chain 6's. but your video showing you have actually 4 chains. so which is right?

    • @briandavey1727
      @briandavey1727 4 года назад

      Yes very frustrating to unpull the row to correct it

    to answer a pressing question on everyones mind, at least for the plus size. Using a J hook and 65 chains for the armholes, i am nearing the end! But i ended up using 4 Bernat POP! cakes for my vest :)

    • @yolandasotolopez
      @yolandasotolopez  8 лет назад

      I have no idea how much yarn is in the Bernat POP cakes. So I'm not sure how much you would need if you are using a different type of yarn.

    Ms. Yolanda, since my granddaughter has seen my vest that I made from your pattern, she loves it and wants one in her size. Would it work if I just did it in fewer rounds, and try to size it to her as I go? She is 8, and wears a size 8-10 in girls.

    I just flogged 40 mins of crochet because you had 4 doubles to work into...then resound the video and there was only 3!. So now I may have unnecessarily frogged a whole row. So confused

    Did you buy the yarn with all these colors in one? if so, where?

    • @yolandasotolopez

      Caron Cakes have all the colors on the same yarn. You can purchase it at Michaels stores.
