The video is portraying people of different beliefs stuck inside their box's. These boxes depict what those inside do because it's their 'belief'. These beliefs tend to separate people from each other and there are some who realize this sad truth, those few being Denzel and Joey in the video. Although both belief boxes can see each other through monitors, Denzel and Joey know they must be somewhere in the physical world so they try reaching out to each other by making noise and throwing chairs. Due to the throwing of the chair, both Denzel and Joey realize they are quite literally separated by a wall. Being woke, Denzel and Joey grab their people and simply walk outside to be unified.
Up to you to decide what this is a metaphor for.
