What a legend our new Territorial Commander is, 'God has his hands all over his leadership, The Isle of Wight Salvation Army is on my heart, we need a Band of musicians, to take us forward dear 'Lord I shall return, to fulfil, I promise Lord.
What a wonderful commissioning A heart rendering moving service. Both the ISS band and songsters were wonderful to listen to giving us a real message .Especially when one of our own was singing . God bless our new Lieutenants and God continue to Bless our Salvation Army it's a wonderful organisation but let's remember our routes and traditions as we seem to be moving away from them . God bless each and everyone who has taken part . 🙏
Praying God's blessing on the new Lts. But how sad, & concerning, to see less Cadets in 1 Session than we had in 1 Brigade, when nearly 100 of us were commissioned & ordained at the Royal Albert Hall in 1980.
Yes I agree times are changing, & this isn't the Christian country it once was, I'm afraid it's a multi cultural diverse society, of many different faith's, & yes many are without faith at all, church numbers in many parts of the country are down, to what they are now. God hasn't become fashionable enough to many, so much distraction for many, the army through it's caring can bring some comfort, & can be giving the opportunity, to will 'Souls for God through the opportunity, of caring for others.

The SA has become more like Pentecostal church. Very sad the army is loosing its tradition.
I agree. it has long since lost the distinctives which made it the Salvation Army which it claims God called it to be. Very sad.
