@@DonSaidTV I prefer full sidewinder load because they work better low to the ground and can shoot down all-aspect missiles along with a rocket pod to use as poor man's flares.
9.3 gets constant uptiers to 10.3 against aim9ls and r60s since it gets a lot of uptiers it fights against mig 21 and with phantom if you try to bomb base the aardvarks, tunderchiefs, phantoms, f5c will always get to it before, so you gotta wait until the base reappears no flares i still loved it and spaded it

I play it exclusively in sim , in air rb the AIm9 b sucks but in sim you can sneak behind the enemy and shoot him down, and you can kill everything if you get his 6 even mig 21 if you are on his 6 he can't shake you away but it bleeds energy almost like the mig 21(its slightly better than the mig in this regard), the aim 7 just bad don't even try to use them . Overall it's a funny aircraft in sim .
This plane primarily uses Pulse (SRC) radar, and will register an enemy if it manages to detect them... Overall, the AIM-7C's and this plane's radar are quite primitive, so you are most likely to get a kill if the enemy is flying straight at a similar altitude high and not trying to evade. Indeed, it is the case...I believe the main reason behind it is to allow you use the Switch Guns mechanic in order to conserve ammo (e.g. use up ammo on gun on the left first, then use the guns on the right). However, I believe that it automatically shoots both sets of guns at the same time Hope this helps ^^
@@meia8626 Figured it out! In your controls, there's an option called 'Switch primary weapons', if you cycle through it enough times, it allows you to choose to only shoot the top 2 guns or the bottom 2 guns separately...interestingly, it can also let you choose to shoot Gun Pods, should you have any equipped on a plane Pretty cool!
@@nathanphillips2395 used to try to slow down to tighten the turn in dogfights, at times I get a bit too greedy 😅 Practice makes perfect, open to ideas!
@@DonSaidTV I get it lol the plane is a lot better than a lot of people say it is. I genuinely think it's real main downside is the low acceleration. I found the most success for guns doing split S stuff. Maybe air braking and losing throttle a bit at the beginning to get my initial position, but I do it as little as possible. Then I just alternate between wep and no wep in the dogfight from that point forward. Especially with missiles the plane sadly just doesn't have the acceleration to use your airbrake very much. Once you get that slow with the flares and mid acceleration at best you sadly seem to guarantee your death even if you get your dogfight kill.
You dont even need the airbrake for the most time, you just have so much aoa your entire plane is a speedbrake once you start pulling Russian players will try to ratefight you and you can just click them out of the air since you have so much nose authority

Agreed, the Demon is a pretty decent plane overall, once you learn to use the flaps and get used to not having flares!

Fun fact, you can use mighty mouse rockets as countermeasures on this fighter
