My “friends” always said they had my back well that’s never true I was always there when they were going through all there shit but when it came to me nobody cared they would always blow me off this became so normal to me I became cold and never even realized it only one person was there for me she was my girlfriend... but all good things come to an end I was on the road to recovery and then she died in a terrible car accident I was with her and we got hit by a car going 85 mph the driver being drunk I only came out with a few broken bones but she had died instantly I didn’t care about me at that time but after I got out of the car and held her it had completely destroyed me and this is my story of my depression which is still an on going battle.... ( thank you guys for the support)

I really relate to this song. Middle School sucked for me, a lot of drama, lot's of pain. My life was really good until middle school hit, there was a girl who i practically fell for. She was a goddess, an angel and it honestly felt like she was my soulmate. I loved her a lot but I never even got a chance to be with her. I told her how I felt end of 6th grade, and even asked her out in beginning of 7th too, but she was too busy so we never got to do that date, and despite knowing how I felt, she dated 2 other guys... I was heartbroken and confused, at first I felt like it was because I was just a wierdo cause I end up saying or doing some pretty wierd/stupid things, then I thought that maybe I was just getting in the way, I didn't know. I was depressed for a long time and always asked myself in bed looking at the ceiling "What did they have that I didn't?" or "Was I just in the way of you and your crush's feelings?" The same year I asked her out, I might a friend who really didn't have her life going well, she was constantly depressed like i was but it was worse, she had thoughts of death and suicide. Her family was horrible and she talked about doing melatonin and stuff that a normal middle-schooler should never do. So on top of my depression I was worried about my friend. As well as my parents arguing a bunch and thought of divorcement, I couldn't deal with it all and I wasn't sure what to do but hold it in. In 8th grade, I told myself that it was fine we didn't feel the same for eachother and tried to let go of my feelings and move on but it was really hard and around February of 2020, I ended up moving closer to family despite how much friends I had and leaving the one I really loved. And over the summer of 2020 I ended up letting all of my bottled emotions out, and for the past 2 months, I listened to depressing songs like this one and got mad and sad. I got angry at god for giving me part of my life that i hated, for doing horrible stuff to me despite me being kind and nice to everyone. On top of the fact that I had to think about my future as I headed ever so closely to High School and I didn't really talk to my friends anymore cause I don't do well with long distance relationships and my family annoyed the hell out of me. I locked myself in my room for 3 days even and was just mad at everyone. Family, Friends, God, Myself, and Life. I had thoughts of depression and suicide, I lashed out at my family. It sucked. I'm doing better now, I have 2 dogs, a decent house with my family, and i'm not attached to her anymore, in fact i haven't talked to her for months sadly cause of my selfishness and problems but that's alright, maybe I will in the future, i don't know. I hope you all are doing well, fufilling your goals, living happily, have friends, getting good or grades or working hard at your job! Good luck and know that your not alone, but rather you have people who you can talk to. I made the mistake of not doing that and you should! Let it all out, even if you get to the point of crying. Tell the people you love what's going on and they can help! Try to live a happy life, enjoy it while you can, cause after all death is inevitable, we can't live forever so go do something with your life. Even if it's to help a kid who's alone, exploring the world, or accomplishing your biggest dreams, you can do it if you believe you can!
Sad I am in the same fate as you, although I don't even have the same feelings for nobody currently and I'm in the 8th but still, crap is still going terrible for me even though all of my friends left me and everybody is always ignoring me to the point some folks are even scared of me. I hate facing racism at school everyday. I told my parents and teachers about it and teachers aren't still doing anything. I don't know what to do at this point
