    This makes even more clear that everyone dissing the G12T75 is clearly wrong. Yeah it might be not as mid prominent as other speakers, but has a presence and a bite that many speakers lack, and in the mix you can definitely hear it.

    The only ones I dislike are the A and the Copper. I really dig the Cream and off course the V30 has the classic (a bit overused) sound. All the others have their strengths and weaknesses but seem fairly usable.

    Love a lot of them! My favorites were the H75, GT75, Neo Creamback, and the G12H.

    The Anniversary might come across as very bright in the room, but is great recording speaker that loves being mic'ed. The V-Type also fits this category.
    You gotta give the Redback and the K100 a spin.

      Have Creams,V30UK,Anni,Creamback M and Redback. The redback combined with Creamback is so good! and also alone the Redback is nearly my favourite!

    Atype and Anniversary still my favourite speakers, atype has air
    and riffs come straight in your face, Anniversary well balanced and very pleasure upper mid section 🤟

      Yes I was pleasantly surprised about the anniversary, I didn't like it that much in the past, but I guess sometimes it's also a matter of the right gear combined and dialing in a good tone + good mic position.

    Hi mate, so good to see you again making Celestion speaker comparison ! I suggest you to not use a fish eyes, the result is not really good. Great comparison but i prefer regular tuning :)

    They all sound great! I like them all!
    Who cares. Really which is used. Some speakers go better with certain mics.
    It all depends on what mics are used and also,what else is in the mix.
    But I like how you got a 1x12 to sound like this!

    Did you say that you tweaked the EQ settings for each speaker?

    • @ThevonMusic
      @ThevonMusic  2 года назад

      I definitely change EQ settings on the amp, yes. I search for a balance of bass/mid/treble and A/B compare with other speakers recorded until they sound balanced. There are people that think doing the same EQ is a more honest representation or a better comparison. I give you an example of why I don't think this is the right way to do this: A V-Type is very mid scooped. If I use the same EQ settings like a V30 on a V-Type it'll sound like crap and the V30 will definitely 'sound' better. Look at it like this: I search for a well balanced sound with all of them and spend most of the time just changing mic/eq settings (sometimes more than an hour for one speaker!) until I do the final recording of every speaker.

    Which one would you say is the most efficient for low volume?

    • @ThevonMusic
      @ThevonMusic  3 года назад

      I don't think it's the type of speakers you should be worried about but how loud your amp needs to be to hear the full sound of it.
