wow I have been using brew father for a year and I never once hit the "brew button". holy moly this software is way stronger than I thought. I was basically only using it for the planning stage and everything else was written down and calculated manually in my notebook.
I used to take wort readings with my refractometer at either 65c or 100c and was way off. What i started to do is take a sample and let it cool to room temperature. Numbers are now pretty much spot on. I always though wort temp didnt matter. Seems it does.
Hi Brian, Have learnt so much from your videos, thanks for doing what you do mate. This is my second brew with Brewfather. I have a question on entering measured values. I needed to add 2 liters more to my preboil volume to reach my required amount in the kettle so to have enough volume post boil. I was also able to do this because the pre-boil gravity was also high. Where can I tell the software that I needed to do this so that I can add this extra 2 L to my kettle next time? Cheers
At 0:10 the blow off is bubbling and you say it looks like it's done.. is it just me or does that still look pretty active? I wait basically until an airlock or blowoff falls silent. Am I waiting too long?
Brewfather needs to be paying you!
Yessir..lol

You can wait that long won't hurt anything.
Do the video on refractometer
Releasing tomorrow. 👍🍻
I need to start using brew father on a laptop. The mobile view is good but I didn't even know about that
It's pretty cool it's the exact same.on the mobile app! 👍🍻
Trying to understand better the yeast calculator in BF. I'm new to this. How many cells do most yeast packets (liquid/dry)have?
It varies by manufacturer. I would look on the manufacturer website for those details.
I had know idea about Wort Correction Factor. Do you have a link to find out a Hydrometers Correction Factor?
I'll do a video 😁
So why do you use Brix for your readings? Is it more accurate?
With brix it's easier to use the conversion.in the software. I will be doing a follow up video to explain it all.
