@@TheBeardedGrump Starlink is constantly launching new satellites and they go up in large groups. What you described sounds like how they deploy from the rocket that launches them. They start out in a straight line, I forget when/how they eventually separate and go into the orbit they'll eventually live in.
@@TheBeardedGrumpdefinitely starlink. They will have a big line of them very close. They move fast too. I’ve seen them a few times. I’m down in Wilmington also. By the way. I just bought a BMW GS1250. Would love to link up with you guys one time when you go out in the NC mountains again. This is the first time I’ve seen your channel.
Jake is a cool dude, always good to call and let your buddy know you made it home. Yes, that was Musk's star link that you saw, pretty cool to see a man-made object jetting across the night sky.
He is definitely a cool dude. He has checked on me pretty much everyday since I got out of the hospital. That's how we became friends. It's crazy how fast those things move.
Rode sky valley and cascade lake last weekend. That was starlink for sure. We have an app that tracks them and they definitely fly across the sky. Sometimes if they are coming dead at you or away they can appear stationary but across they are flying! Good video man.
Heck yeah! I live on Pinnacle Mtn. rd and ride it everyday. Unfortunately they just put all those rocks down which has made it ALOT less enjoyable. Waiting on trucks to drive over and make some smoother tracks for s two wheeled bandits! I go eat the best breakfast around near Caesar’s head inn Cedar MTN. at Ceadr MTN Cafe. Real cool to see y’all on it. Wish I had bumped into you. 🏍️💨 Oh and that fresh tree smell is partly because they had a controlled burn along pinnacle not long ago and that was pleasant result.
@@TheBeardedGrump definitely do check out the cedar mtn cafe. Amazing pancakes! Get the Mountain Man breakfast and it includes everything a man needs for a day of riding. And yeah you ain’t lying about the smell. They did that control burn at the end of winter and then spring came around and it seemed to help the aroma with the new growth or something. Almost makes up for the boulders in the road. 😆They spread them out all the way across the mountain now. Always entertaining videos. Stay safe 🏍️💨
The one and only time I’ve seen something similar, the only explanation I could come up with is starlink like the other guys said. I guess they link up every now and again to recalibrate and it looks like a train of stars across the sky. Me and my friends thought we were being invaded, actually called the sheriffs dept. to see if anybody else had reported it or if they knew what was up but they just thought we were high 😂
It's funny that they thought y'all were high because we talked to a guy at the store the next morning about it and he said was y'all eating mushrooms 🤣
Hi Greg...there is more and more stuff flying around in the skys. Check out an older podcast 'Art Bell Bob Lazar' shows. This video is as close to the 990 I've come. I've heard great stories on that bike. I had a 690 before the T7. Thanks as always.

That lines of lights was Starlink satellites from Elon Musk.
From the research I did starlink doesn't really move and these were hauling butt.

Loved the video Greg! Keep 'em coming 🙂
Thanks man. 👊
I was on that road very recently!! I thought it was Cathey’s Creek, but I remember that gravel very well!!
I'm glad you're getting to ride a lot in your retirement. Keep on hammer Patrick; 👊
Yup, I went up Sky Valley as well!!
Saw that in Tellico Plains last year at Smitty's. They came up right behind the International Space Station. Very awesome!
It was pretty cool to see.
Ceasar’s Head is great!! You were pretty close to a place called The Pretty Place, unbelievable views there!!!
Pretty place is really cool.
They came from area 51 those lights ...Good video lads
They probably did 😂. Thanks man. 👊

Very nice off road rides brother

Caesars head is one of the best views in the upstate, I am glad y’all got a clear day to see it!
It was the first time I've seen it on a clear day. It was awesome.
Great video and kick ass views bro 👍
Thanks man! 👊
Yall are good folks. Had a good time. Take care
It was great hanging out and riding with you. We enjoyed it. 👊
Y'all hammered the shit out of that, y'all come to Talladega natl forest sometime and ride, that was fun thanks for taking me along
Thanks. We'll have to try and make it down that way. Thanks for watching 👊
I've been to Caesars Head 8or9 times on the bike and once in my truck killer roads in that area
It is a good area for riding. Especially when it's hot because it's slightly cooler up there

Yup, like others have said, StarLink is what you saw. I’ve seen a couple of launches from home….
Sounds like Starlink satellites but they usually stay put in the sky and don't move. Not sure what you seen if they were moving across the sky.
They were moving extremely fast. There's not much telling of what's all up in space
They are the Starlink satellite's. We see em here in New Zealand.
Do they move really fast?
@@TheBeardedGrump yup.
Greg, was this over memorial weekend? We rode that road in think that was Saturday for us deep new gravel put in there of i can remember right
Yeah. I think y'all rode it a day or 2 before we did.
Sounds like you saw starlink
I searched about starlink but from what I found it doesn't move fast. These things were moving pretty damn fast.
Where do y'all pick this up at? I live in Atlanta and looking for places like this to ride
We picked it up on hwy 11 in between Pickens and Greenville SC
I feel like if you took me along for one of your rides (hint hint) it would really attract a more diverse viewer population lol.
Maybe we can make that happen someday 😉👊

Babyhead gravel.....nightmare
It wasn't all that bad really. That road gets so much traffic it will be gone in no time.
Elons star link system in the sky
