  • Hi guys,
Right now, I'm in the process of taking care of some transmission problems in a BRP Can-Am Spyder trike. It's like solving a puzzle, where we're digging deep to figure out what's causing the issue. Once we've got it all figured out, we'll roll up our sleeves and get to work on making the necessary repairs. Our goal isn't just to fix the problem; it's about giving the rider the freedom to enjoy the road without any worries. So, we're working diligently to get that Spyder trike purring smoothly once again.
Don't forget the 'LIKE' button and maybe a 'SUBSRCRIBE' to 👍😁

Still impressed how you tackle whatever rolls in the door. Enjoyed the video and if you ride RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

After you changed the seals and changed gears, some oil leak was still visible too. At 20:00

Well mate guess what the fault code relates to bad rail
Pressure sensor i changed that car still
Thr same starts idles and dies then i charged battery overnight it was dead same result then i decided last go at the car 🤣 i unplugged the front o2 sensor on the cat the car euns drives like a dream my question is can a bad 02 cause car to run rough and die
Cause it drives great with that unolugged fron the electrical plug thanks 😊

Not normally, an O2 sensor just reads exhaust gases!

    Focus 1.0
Hi mate i just managed to into live data fuel rail pressure is 1300 psi
And also the fault code i am getting is p0089
Fuel rail oressure regulator 1 performance its says would that be the high pressure fuel rail sensor ? Maybe that sensor is gubbed
    Any idea mate ? thanks

Hi Peter, I have very little to go on! No year, no engine code! No scan tool name!
It's very unlikely your pressure sensor is at fault as you have a pressure reading! I would check elsewhere first, either worn camshaft, worn bucket, pump regulator or a worn fuel pump! A fault code will not necessarily tell you what's wrong but for you to look somewhere.

      Ford focus 1.0 ecoboost junk
I am using an old autel scanner mate i had a low pressure fault code so i fitted new tank pump today but now i have that p0089 code so i was thinking maybe a knackered high pressure rail sensor surely 1300 psi must be a false reading that seems well to of a high pressure when the car is running u aby idea what running pressure us needed ? Cheers mate

@@Peter-sm8bj you're wasting money, you have 2 pumps on the car, low pressure lift pump in the tank and a high pressure pump at the back end of the head, running off the camshaft! 1300psi is about right for the high pressure pump!

🤣 i wish i never bought this non runner 1.0 ecoboost shit cars mate am thinking cam lobe worn or the valve bucket
      Car has dun 97k
But i might aswell try change the rail sensor i dont need to spend anymore money cause i opened the boot and theres a fuel rail with sensor on it
Plus a high pressure pump and injectors so i guess the guy that sold me this banger has tried all sorts £1500 i have wasted thats incling buying the non runner and £300 on parts 🤣
Thanks for ur help anyway 👍
