    My mom was an RN for so many years until she had severe health issues that forced her to retire early. She still struggles missing helping people and using that part of her brain. She did lose a lot of her identity too. I’ve watched how hard that’s been for the last ten years. Sewing has helped her a lot. She’s the one that started teaching me to sew at age six. So glad I watched this.

    I really enjoyed this so much. I too planned on retiring in 5 years, but Covid hit and had to retire. Like Paula, it took me about two years to gradually come to myself.
    My daughter and her husband bought me a Handing Quilter Moxie with Prostitcher Lite. And I'm beginning again
    Thank you for this video. I too have grieved and this was wonderful to know I am not alone.

    She makes a great point about retirement. I plan to retire early but know I'll want to still have something to do that is useful and maybe even brings in some moeny.
