Come soon Lord! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! New channel here, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!
In a a recovery sense, 12 step recovery, this is step #6. "Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character" So on a daily basis ask God to remove everything that stands in His way of being useful. This is really a Beautiful gift from God. Because once we do this yielding to God then Jesus comes in and shines through people. Really an important aspect of recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. May God bless y'all
Wow... This really got me. I have a female friend I was about to get into a relationship with. Things fell apart recently because she has lost her faith. Brutally painful, and I'm still praying for her to wake up. This short exultation just explained my situation. Please pray with me. Pray with me for her to wake up.
The phrase “awake o sleeper….” makes me think of Isiah 60:1 : "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
I think the phrase "For all that is manifest is light" might mean this; If all things exposed to the light are manifest including the "unfruitful works of darkness" then it's the fact that they are exposed by the light ...the light (the truth) brings them out into the open for all to see. They become light in a way that they ( the unfruitful works or anything exposed to the light) are seen and not hidden anymore and they become seen( as a light is seen in the darkness ) as something to avoid for others. Just like us, as the last sentence says, "Awake O sleeper, and arise from the dead and Christ will shine on you." As we wake from the dead in our sins...Christ will shine on us and make manifest our sins even more so they become a light manifest as warning signs so we are able to avoid them even more. When we were alseep and dead in our sins we couldn't see them for what they really were. Once they became exposed and manifest they become a light ...we see them clearly for what they are now and are able to move accordingly.
“For all that is manifested is light. Therefore…” Maybe, when the light of Christ shines through me on to the sleepers and/or spiritually dead, (for those who have been chosen by God in Christ), they will awaken to that light and themselves become light.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:1-14 KJV bible.com/bible/1/jhn.1.1-14.KJV
Please pray that I would have the courage to speak the truth, I want to and need to tell my non-Christian friends about the Gospel. I've always been so scared, please pray for me 🙏🏾
I think the “it” in “therefore, it says” refers to the light that shines from you when you’re alive in Christ. That light that other people can see tells them to wake from the dead and that Christ is who is the source of this light.

@@gokartbob6478 Why are you rolling your eyes at me? I just quoted you the words of Jesus. He said that nobody has ever been to heaven except himself who came from heaven. He said, before Abraham was, I AM. They accused him of making himself equal with God, which he was. The father is 1st in the heirarchy. He is called the Word of God who became flesh. Go to the old testament, the Word of YHWH who came and spoke to all the prophets was a person just as John tells us in the first chapter. Jude tells us he was the Angel of His presence in the Exodus. Jacob tells us he was the angel and also the God he wrestled with who blessed him. And to answer your question about becoming one with Jesus and the father, yes. Jesus said in the resurrection we will become as the angels in heaven. The angels in heaven are said to be called the Sons of God, plural, just as we also are called in the new testament who have been redeemed, who belong to Christ Jesus and are in him and he in us. The very name of God, of YHWH, is Behold the hand, behold the nail. Jesus is called the Right hand of the LORD and the arm of the LORD. He is the God who was crucified and had nails pierce his hands who came down and was revealed once already and will come again to be revealed as he is a second and final time. I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Yeah, that God. The very name of Jesus means: YHWH is salvation, or salvation comes by YHWH. Who is YHWH? I AM is YHWH. Who is he? The God with the nailed hand who shall be revealed twice. He is the God and Lord over all creation, and the Light of our salvation. Do you understand anything at all about the godhead of the trinity? Read the story of Gideon. Read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. The LORD (YHWH) rained fire and brimstone from the LORD (YHWH) out of heaven. There are 2 persons in this text. It's not a mistake. It's not a misunderstanding. The angel of His Presence it is said of him: My name is in Him. Obey everything he says. The mercy seat with the blood sprinkled on it. It represents the shedded blood of Christ, who is the God of Israel. My own arm wrought salvation, it says in Isaiah.

I could use some help from the spiritual community... I grew up atheist in a dysfunctional family but was very different than them. I was seeking truth. It led to many arguments and over time I strayed away and found God. I realize now I was always pleading with them to awaken. I find myself now torn between continuing to speak truth which seems to push them away, or leave them be which greaves me to see them fall further as some siblings raise their children in the same darkness. I have prayed for years but the answer eludes me. Sometimes I feel like leaving them be is abandoning them and other times it seems speaking the truth of God severs what remaining connection we have. I know our brother in the video said you should always try to speak the truth to people and help them awaken spiritually but what do you do if you have been trying for 20 years and it has fallen on deaf ears? And what do you do to help with the pain of watching a loved one parish? Any help is appreciated, God bless.
All of the dead I am surrounded by, unfortunately does not want to wake up. They hate the light. They hate the truth. They utterly despise it. They love the darkness. They love lies. They prefer these things. People today are so dark. Just like Isaiah and the apostle Paul said they would be. I really think the only come to Jesus moment many of these people will have will be like Proverbs 1:20‐33. I am sorry to say, but from what I have seen and experienced I don't have much hope for humanity. The brighter your light shines, the more they hate and despise and reject you. It's just true.
So true. But a lot of people were just like that before they came to know the light. I was one of those people, maybe you were too at one time. You never know who God will touch at a particular moment. Don't give up on them.. Pray for them. You never know what will happen.
