Remember in March 2020, when the market crashed and then started to recover soon afterward? Many people were afraid to buy at the March bottom, thinking that it was just a dead-cat bounce, but it wasn't! If you didn't get on then, you missed it, because it gradually went to the moon from there. This is another bottom recovery and you need to get in, before its too late to profit nicely. You have to get in when there's still uncertainty, if you want to profit. When everyone is telling you to get in, then its too late. I bought with my rule, which is "when there's blood in the water." You can't miss then!

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. Musk has said a few times, that the artificial intelligence (the part that does the automatic driving) part of Tesla is worth more than the rest of the company including the car division. So sure, Ford might be able to stuff some batteries into an optimized chassis and do it at scale, and might even beat Tesla in range/power/price (by taking a loss). But it won't be sustainable. Because in order to sustain being a top tier EV maker, you need to be a top tier battery company, and a top tier AI company, and a top tier remote networking company. Ford and Toyota, right now, are 2 years behind on the car front, but they are 12 years behind on the battery, networking and AI front. And what will Tesla being doing in those 12 years? Not sitting back and enjoying their success. When you have engineers building rockets that can land on their rear end, and cars that can drive themselves across the country, and dozens of strings of satellites providing fast internet across the remotest of places on earth...all of this right now, and the ability to ask any of those engineers across all those companies for a solution to any problem in any of your companies...

The FED has no reason to lower interest rates. They've printed a great deal of money and now they need to pull it back in. Many of the more notable layoffs took place with tech companies who over borrowed to boost their stock prices and headcounts to look more productive and valuable on paper. If they were truly productive these layoffs wouldn't be happening. It's a game.
Well, the productivity has gone down a lot: more workers yet produced smaller GDP. How can that not be inflationary?. On average, we are producing less so we will be paid less in real wage. But the nominal salary went up 5.2% in most recent data and continues so. There are only two ways to even up with the lower productivity yet higher salary mathematically: inflation or lower profit. Or both.

Musk has said a few times, that the artificial intelligence (the part that does the automatic driving) part of Tesla is worth more than the rest of the company including the car division. So sure, Ford might be able to stuff some batteries into an optimized chassis and do it at scale, and might even beat Tesla in range/power/price (by taking a loss). But it won't be sustainable. Because in order to sustain being a top tier EV maker, you need to be a top tier battery company, and a top tier AI company, and a top tier remote networking company. Ford and Toyota, right now, are 2 years behind on the car front, but they are 12 years behind on the battery, networking and AI front. And what will Tesla being doing in those 12 years? Not sitting back and enjoying their success. When you have engineers building rockets that can land on their rear end, and cars that can drive themselves across the country, and dozens of strings of satellites providing fast internet across the remotest of places on earth...all of this right now, and the ability to ask any of those engineers across all those companies for a solution to any problem in any of your companies...

I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in space generally or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than hodling. I made a ton of money shorting her portfolio. Now I wait for her crap tickers to rally to a ridiculously good deal to sell. If it gets there I will reenter short - if not whatever.
Her portfolio is either crap tickers or overpriced stuff. Shorting NVDA at 300 and TSLA at 1100 was amazing - great companies - just the valuation was insane. Maybe we are entering into the 1920s style of speculation bubble. People take loans out to buy the SPY assuming the FED put is there and that stocks only go up 7-10% a year.
We did tag the 1929 - 2000 top trendline in 2021 on the DOW . Usually a 4th touch and it busts through. 1922 had a bear market and the 7 years that followed were awesome till not.

Many of the more notable layoffs took place with tech companies who over borrowed to boost their stock prices and headcounts to look more productive and valuable on paper. If they were truly productive these layoffs wouldn't be happening. It's a game.

Well, the productivity has gone down a lot: more workers yet produced smaller GDP. How can that not be inflationary?. On average, we are producing less so we will be paid less in real wage. But the nominal salary went up 5.2% in most recent data and continues so. There are only two ways to even up with the lower productivity yet higher salary mathematically: inflation or lower profit. Or both.

In spite of the economic downturn and inflation crisis we all face, one still need to Set goals and take bold steps in achieving them, Remember success is not obtained overnight. We just have to stop procrastinating and try what we have always wanted, to improve our life and wellbeing, I believe Investing will take us closer to that dream
