- This powerful and exciting blues guitarist is always welcome back to the mountains. He’s been playing since he was a teen in Houma, Louisiana and learned his craft from living legends playing in local clubs. Those lessons were taken to heart - his playing is expressive and nuanced, at once face melting as it is seductive. He was inducted in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and in 2007 the Blues Music Awards honored him with the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award. In 2012 the BMA recognized him again with not only the B.B. King award, but also Best Contemporary Blues Album (for 2011’s Medicine) and Contemporary Blues Male Artist. His self-penned songs and tasteful covers will take you deep into the Louisiana night where the blues runs deep and the humidity of the South keeps things greasy. Tab founded conservation group Voice of the Wetlands, which works to raise awareness about the fragile wetlands ecosystem along the Louisiana coastline. This is one righteous human.

I am from Sweden, been a musician for more than 50 years. Seen them all, played with lots of great musicians, came across Tab a while ago, must say he is a puré joy. What a player and feel!
I had never heard of Tab until recently. I learned about him on Spotify. Found out he was playing close to my house. Took my mom and sister to the show. This guy and his band are the REAL DEAL.
I’ve been listening to Tab for 25yrs and seen him live he always puts on a outstanding show and always leaves you wanting more.
Going to see him tonight at Knuckleheads in Kansas City MO.
We saw Tab at the Kessler in Oak Cliff (Dallas,TX) last night. He has musician hair now but wow, what a show!!!!

Got to hangout with Tab in Chicago a couple of months ago, I heard he wasn't much for meeting fans but he was as cool as it gets.
This man is a true entertainer. From large to small venues he just brings it to the audience.
Check out Joe Bonamassa. One of the best rock blues guitarists on the planet. Eric Clapton has played as a guest at one of his shows.

Just from the time I heard Shelter Me. I did research on Tab. This guy is a super talent& the band is great. This is the next Hendrix/ Stevie Ray Vaughn I feel& the world is sleeping on him. Just needs that breakout from like super bowl or talk show something. God bless

Tab is a 4 hour performer. Not that he plays that long, but I would drive 4 hours to see him play! I'm going to see him tomorrow night in Little Rock and he's headlining the King Biscuit in October! Also saw him last October the Tuesday after the King Biscuit in the same venue he's playing tomorrow night! You can never get too much Tab! Corey is really animated on stage and fun to watch while holding down the bottom end. He's (Tab) grown his hair out and is now a guitar god!!
Been listening to Tab on Pandora for years. Finally got to see him in person at Stanley BBQ, Tyler, TX on 7.22.21. He is the real deal. Puts on a great show.

Tab is a smokin blues guitarist and singer. I just "discovered" him this year, awesome talent. I loves the blues, 44 years a Texan & SRV fan but I can't get enough of Tab Benoit. Definitely looking to see him play live, what a showman!
I've seen Tab in Colorado off Pearl St. Mall and Skippers Smoke House in Tampa Florida many times. Love that Cajun Blues Man and his band.
been to skippers myself, great small venue... wmnf. and i've been to red rocks, my ex being from the denver area. my old millionaire boss used to talk nonstop about telluride, i had to drive his rich ass to the airport every time he and his drugged out trophy wife went on vacation.
