Novak's playing is phenomenal as always. In the first half of his career he used to chase the ball defensively , imitating Nadal. But nowadays he is as attacking as any great attacker( Fed, Sampras). His net game has also improved immensely 😮😮

i love djokovic with all his good and bad manners :) this is fun to watch .. i bought many tickets to watch Rogers cup this year in August , but this year it's women's in Montreal .. not bad i enjoy watching women , hopefuly Venus W participates ... few years ago , i watched Raphael Nadal , didn't like the way he plays , didn't like how people were chearing all time for him and ignoring his opponent who played much much better ... but nadal won because of his boring tennis ( not taking any risky shots .. )
That drop shot didn't look good, any reason why Rune who easily reached there scooped it up directly to Djoker? I thought it was easy for him to hit it cross-court and potentially close that point.

I've seen about 1000 more insane points than this one, this was pretty typical of long rallies we see nowadays. This has nothing on any of Alcaraz's top 100 points, and I'm not even an Alcaraz fanatic. This was just a good cat-and-mouse point that ended in a pretty standard put-away volley; I feel like I see points like this every week. I really don't understand the people losing their minds over this. Definitely lots of good gets and defense from Rune, but there's nothing exceptional about this point.
The timing of it is everything though.............thats what makes it special..............context matters too.
