    I have been doing The Bible Recap for the first time this year and I’ve loved it. I have gotten behind a few times and funny enough every time I’ve jumped back into it, something stuck out to me and I’ve felt like it was exactly what God needed me to hear that day. So don’t feel bad about being “behind” ❤

      I’ve heard about this but haven’t checked it out yet! Is it a website??

      @@blessedhomeschool No, it’s just people on RUclips talking about books, reviewing books, and telling what they loved or hated and why. I’m not sure why it appeals to me so much except I just love books 🤣

    I have been doing The Bible Recap since January 1st. I have been thinking about adding another bible study because I feel like I need a little more depth. But I do like it!
    We love Happy Hymnody for their Hymn of the Month! We listen on RUclips.❤

      I will check that out, thank you!!
      And you’re right, it’s definitely more of a read-through than a study. Do you happen to know if BSF is available in your area? You might love that!!

      Ok I just looked up the hymn channel - what a great idea!! Do you guys watch/sing during morning time in your homeschool?

      @@blessedhomeschool I would LOVE to do BSF! The nearest one is a 40 minute drive. I live in a rural town. 😩

      @@blessedhomeschool yes we do! Not every single day, but at least 2-3 times per week. If you go to her website, the current hymn has some free printables. If you go to her etsy shop there’s even more, but I tend to stick to FREE. 😂

      I know they do virtual! It’s not quite the same, but…an option.

    Can you share a bit more about the recap? maybe a flip though of it?

    • @blessedhomeschool
      @blessedhomeschool  2 месяца назад +1

      Let me think about it! Really, the book follows along with the Bible study, which is a free study through an app (the book is kind of just extra if you want to take notes or write things down as you read & study. It’s not required to use, though!).
      If you can, check out the YouVersion Bible app and search for “The Bible Recap”. I probably should have explained it better, but it’s basically a chronological Bible reading plan with a 5-6 minute podcast you listen to after your reading that “recaps” the reading & explains it 😊.

    I wanted to ask you about All About Spelling. My granddaughter will be in the 7th grade. She is really bad at Spelling. Should I start her in level 1 or should I start her in level 2. Thanks for your advice.

      I’d recommend checking out their placement test on the website: www.allaboutlearningpress.com/spelling-placement. This will really give you a good idea of where to begin, however, typically kids will begin with level 1 and build from there (the “levels” don’t correspond to “grade”). Hope this helps!
