😭😭😭 Girl!!!!! And why did God confirm my kingdom spouse who I married first BEFORE confirmation of 19 years but He confirmed confirmed just last year with Songs of Solomon, went on a divine separation, and every time God lead me back to my KS used songs of solomon to confirm reconciliation. Everytime I read I am like “Holy Spirit!!!” 😭😭 I am screaming the way you said that but this is too gods to be true ❤️❤️❤️
No this is not a book about sexual encounter, though it can be misunderstood that way and often is..I read a book many years ago called Songs of Songs: The Journey of the Bride. It opened a deeper perspective on how the book is actually an allegory poem about the journey of the Bride of Christ the church and the Bridegroom King. She is dark (as we all our in our sin nature), she feels feeling unworthy and insecure in her identity. YET...He sees her as lovely. Though she is deeply captivated by him, she knows this love will require her to walk through some difficult places. She doesn't think she can do it. There is pain as she is afraid as she is scoffed at by her brothers. Eventually, she chooses her beloved regardless of the price and overcomes her battle to follow her beloved. Eventually is enrobed in his glory as she becomes the partner/ co-heir with her Bridegroom. At the end calls to the other maidens toward the Him. The symbolism is not sexual when its looked at the proper lens. Its the same with Proverbs 31. It's also reveals the role of the Bride of Christ more so than a Mothers day sermon, there is no harm in it being one.
YES!!!! I am so happy you said it. People get this book all wrong. I heard someone teach about it being a representation of the Bride of Christ and the Bridegroom King and not romance between a couple. It's deeply profound revelation and makes a whole lot of sense. Seriously, what girl wants to be told her hair looks like a flock of goats. LOL CRAZY. I will have to review Proverbs 31 as the Church. I keep finding the more we know, the less we know. I just discovered recently 5-6 women’s s names in the NT were made into men by the early church. Someone didn't want women to represent.
Have you heard of Carolyn Billings song "You Have Ravished My Heart"? The theme is SOS, Bride is singing to the Bridegroom King Jesus. Anointed. I think it's on youtube somewhere.
Since it's poetry, and poetry is art, which is subject (think: beauty is in the beholder ) then my theory is, why can't it be both? If a holy matrimony is meant to be a mirror reflection of the relationship between Christ and the church, why can't this book be also in that same alignment ? In other words, if sex itself is meant to be an intimate gift between a husband and wife , as a mirror of how christ deeply and intimately knows and loves his church, why can't a book do the same thing and be an extention of that? 😊
SOS Isn't Christian Kama Sutra. The early church fathers taught that it was an allegorical poem about Jesus the bridegroom and His bride the church. Everything in the WORD takes our attention toward this mystical union. The bible is full of mysteries, riddles and symbolism. We need eyes illuminated with the Spirit of Revelation when we study it to have the authors understanding.
I agree that SoS isn't Christian kama sutra lol. You're definitely right about that. But I do disagree with the opinions that this book is exclusively black and white, one or the other. In my opinion it is both a representation of the intimacy and freedom found in the gift of marriage, and a representation of Christ and the church. Because isn't that what sex is a reflection of ? So if the cross reference exists for the gift of sex, why can't it exist in poetry, which is essentially art. 😊
Read Song of Solomon as a guide to revival. Think of the passion of the young lady for her lover as our passion for Jesus. Think of the sexual organs as being holy and that only those sanctified can touch the holy. Think of how intimacy produces pregnancy (I don’t have to explain how that is a spiritual reality, every Christian can get that). S of S is about passion. Let that passion become revival!
I’ve always heard that the book of Solomon is very sensual and I’ve even read the book a few times- nothing jumped out at me LIKE THAT. After I watched Jackie’s video I became a little suspicious that I understood where Solomon was going so to be sure, I went to a search engine and typed in “Where do coconuts grow?” Sure enough the answer was on coconut palm trees. I can understand why or how a writer, man or poet would describe a woman’s breasts as coconuts… again, IMO.
For hundreds of years, the early Christian taught that SOS is an allegory between Jesus the Bridegroom and the church his bride. It's not the sexual book as it is often explained today.

Holy Spirit you welcome here!!! 🤣🤣🤣
It's been said that song of Solomon is a picture of the deep intimacy of the love of God towards humanity 🤔
I feel there's ground for that.
That man was a king that had 700 wives and 300 concubines and he somehow still had time to write erotica 😂
I’m done! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Holy spirit 😂😂😂😂
Real spicy! Lol

Read different versions of the Bible apparently it used be band in different countries because it was so sensational
