You did not mention Richard Petty's season dominating and record setting 1967 Plymouth which won 10 races in a row and won 27 of 48 races that year, although you kept showing it while talking about his '64 Plymouth. They look nothing alike; you can't mistake one for the other!

Awesome video, and any Petty Plymouth is close to me heart

I thought this would be about individual cars like Bertha that Darrell waltrip drove, or the wood brothers car that they ran with different bodies from 67 to 73 and at the time it was retired was the single most winning car in nascar history

What happened to the 68-69 Torino's and Cyclones that dominated NASCAR in those years?

Richard Petty didn't win the Daytona 500 in 1962. His first Daytona 500 win was in 1964. Lots of mistakes in this video.

How can any "important stock car" list be complete without the 85-87 Ford Thunderbirds of Bill Elliott?!?!
Maybe it's just me, but the track record holder at the two biggest tracks in NASCAR! (210mph plus at Daytona & 212mph plus at
    Talladega)
I mean it's only the WORLDS FASTEST STOCK CAR!?!?
    SMDH!

Exactly, those Ernie motors dominated like nothing else on big tracks. I was at Daytona in 1987 when Bill made his 210 mph qualifying run. A guy sitting behind me said "you boys are looking at the fastest lap that will ever be turned at Daytona International Speedway". He was right.

Daytona was a 69 not ‘70 Plymouth Superbird was the ‘70. Hemi didn’t come out in ‘62 it was ‘64.

Very confusing video. If the 71 roadrunner was the ultimate body style why did Richard Petty switch to a charger in 72 when he could have stayed with the roadrunner body?

"Among the handicaps introduced for the '71 season was the neutering of aerodynamic streamliners like the '69 Daytona and '70 SuperBird to a maximum of 5 liters (305 ci). Perhaps rightfully so, NASCAR honcho Bill France didn't want his race tracks transformed into extensions of Detroit proving grounds as the Chrysler and Ford factory race teams sought to out-aero each other with increasingly bizarre-and legendary-contraptions. France flicked the light switch and Petty and other Chrysler teams abandoned their bullets and returned to racing bricks on the superspeedways.
The pivotal '71 onslaught continued as big-block engines over 6 liters (366 ci) were required to breathe through restrictor plates and sleeved carburetors or get by on reduced displacement. The writing was on the wall: NASCAR sought to end the Chrysler Hemi and Ford Boss 429 domination of the sport so General Motors could return to the fray. Furthermore, France clearly wanted to encourage small-block engine development and participation."

How can you call this a list of the greatest without arguably the greatest of all time, the Ford and Mercury Talladegas? Those cars are the reason that mopar developed the Winged Warriors. You need a re-do. You have embarrassed yourself.

He can do so because of the 1st Amendment, just as you can (1st Amendment again) make a fascist ass of yourself “managing” the choices of others. The embarassment is yours.
