Can I just say this flat looks a bit more homely and warm, I don't know that it is, I loved the last place but this one feels a little "comfier"(?). btw I get why u said u wanted to get into cooking the new kitchen is LOVELY. I'm glad you're feeling better, xx
Since you are wearing the same style of jeans for the next few weeks, why don’t you do a video of the 10 different outfits you can make with the same jeans? For different occasions.
Holy cow, your new home is EVERYTHING!!! When you showed the front room, I literally gasped out loud. Everything just looks perfect Lizzy. It’s more cozy for sure. I’m so excited for you, and inspired!
Your new home looks so beautiful, Lizzy! You've made it feel soulful and beautiful in a matter of days. I absolutely love everything you've done with the space so far, it feels like you and honest to your love for beautiful things. I don't know how you manage to find the creative space amid the stress of moving etc but it's a testament to the natural flair you have. I moved into my home just over a year ago, right before my son was born and it still doesn't feel how I want it to but you've inspired me to really make space for the items I've collected over the years and on my travels and carve out a little time for reconnecting with making a house a home and falling in love with the space again. So happy for you xx
Your new home looks so cosy! I like how you are not trying to overstyle the place and how you always have fresh flowers. Having a working fireplace is a huge bonus - I feel that looking at the fire for some time or warming up in front of the fireplace is so calming and I always feel a connection to the generations before as fire is something that has accompanied us thousands of years.
Maybe you should switch the position of your sofa and the two chairs? The back of the sofa would act as a sort of separator between the two spaces...also it would face the television..
You should leave the little shelf to left of fireplace and just pile up wood there - I always love that cool modern/rustic look. Loving the new space!!!
Happy to see you looking so much more relaxed! I can't believe how gorgeously homey your new place is, in a way that your last place never really felt. So excited to see the finished state!! Please reassure me, though, that the candle on the foot end of the bed is just for show. It is rampantly dangerous there...😯.
Lovely new place Lizzie! Quick suggestion - the shelf in one of the alcoves that your landlady/landlord might be removing - Maybe you could stack ALL the logs on there? It'll look great and not take up any floor space (though tbf, your living room is a great size). Anyway, just a suggestion :-) - Have a great weekend with Louise and enjoy your posh wine in your swanky wine glasses! xxx
Can you tell us about the area that you moved to now? And maybe talk about the different areas in London, for example how is it different where you are now compared to Notting Hill, where you used to be. Love to get an idea about different parts of a city. And your new place looks lovely, maybe even more warm and cosy than the last place?
Yes of course! I can make sure to share this in videos more too. West London is a much older crowd generally, the best way I can describe it is men wearing chinos and pink shirts hahha. East is a lot younger, lots of creatives - it's more 'hipster' (if that term helps describe anything)! Also, this is a VERY generalised answer, and I love both areas for different reasons. West is very very pretty. East is a bit more rough around the edges xx
@@LizzyHadfield Ok then it's exactly like in Oslo, where I'm from, actually. I've been to Notting Hill, Kensington and Chelsea, and I thought it was beautiful, and I got the impression it was "old money" type areas. But I don't really know other areas in London much so it would be cool to hear more about it. And I'd assume there's many of your followers who'd enjoy some more inside info about the city. Thanks for answering! :)
Wine doesn't have to be expensive. I have taste both sides cheaper and expensive ones and most of the time its just what you prefere, white dry or sweet or in between. Tip for beginner the more yellow the wine looks the sweeter it is. Red wine i don't know because i don't drink it (get migrain from red)
I hope you are ok....I’ve noticed Ben hasn’t been in your videos and you aren’t wearing the ring he gave you...not trying to be nosy but you’ve been saying you’ve lost weight etc....so hoping all is ok and I am loving your new home....you seem really relaxed there 💕
Suggestion: a full length mirror covering the one fireplace next to the dining table? It could make the room seem bigger + not make the room _too_ symmetrical 🤔☺️
My towels and bath mats are still super white after years, but I never mix anything of colour in with washing them. I keep my white towels separate from anything else. And I wash them nice and hot, at 60 degrees.
Uhhho when I looked up the Dr Beckmann product it did indeed say in the product description that "washing at low temperatures can leave your whites looking dull and grey" @Eleonore Bon you are definitely onto something
HeyFranziska • Well, it’s something any housewife in the 50s just knew, lol! Regardless, I don’t like washing towels of any colour cold, it doesn’t feel clean to me. It’s obviously not great for the environment, but it’s the only things I wash hot.
If you find your white towels looking dull, or hard to get makeup out of you need to be washing them at 60 degrees every time. I even wash my white towels on 90 every now and then when I feel like my makeup won't come out. And always wash towels with the same colours. I actually wash all my clothing with the same colours, keeps colours looking fresh for way, way longer
Lizzy, house is coming along! Congrats! Have a look at muji seat cushions if you don’t mind a basic looking one, square or round, it will fit your dining chairs and it’s really comfy!
Well suddenly he isnt mentioned or seen on any of her platforms anymore after months on spamming her viewers with his presence. Also Lizzy filmed a page of her journal/diary in one of her vlogs. She deleted that scene from the vlog a few minutes after. But basically you could read the page she filmed and there she wrote how she called it quits with Ben for now since her head is occupied with someone else (Dean, her old photographer) but "you never know if our paths might be crossing again in the future" or something along those lines (this line is about Ben)
Hope this home gives you lovely new memories :) maybe if you switch the couch/tv with the big table you’ll have a more comfortable lounge area and a better lighting when working? Just an idea 🧁
Riedel glasses are the best, honestly! My parents have them and the thin rim actually makes the wine experience so much better haha. I'm not there yet either, I have the Iittala Essence ones for now, and love them!
Lizzy, have you washed that purple jumper yet? And if so how did it go? I really like it but the label says not to wash it... wondering if I should listen to that :) Thanks!

lighting in your new house is so nice and bright 💜💜
Your new place looks so nice already! Have you tried to place your sofa with the back to the stairs/front door? Or maybe switch the sofa and the to chairs? :-) just a thougt!
It would be so nice if you could by any how compare to the jeans you already have - like vintage 501s and voyage jeans that you love in your conclusion. Like if those oldies win or if you missed them and so on and perhaps still recommend these the most. You're the best LIZZY!! Love your channel so so much
You don't need to educate yourself about wine, you just need to find out what you like and by doing that you naturally learn more about wine. I'm not trying to tell you to become an alcoholic, but the more you taste/drink, the more you learn 😊 When you go to a wine shop you can then tell them your preferences and they will recommend something that you will probably like 😃
Loved this vlog! Nice to see a few different outfits over a few days, too. I’m fairly new to your RUclips but follow on Instagram. Gorge new home (& wine glasses!) I’ve always had a blonde bob but grew it out and am now with my natural brown hair and it’s so long - I struggle to style it. You’re making me want to chop it off! XO

yes what Deb said below, I think it's the original layout of the home where that room would have been split into two xx
