      Nerida Joy hi nerida .. in this video you talk about using your hydrating mask as a massage cream , so does that mean you can leave it on your face , like you would a moisturizer?

    But so many people see facials as a special treat, not a means to an end. I tell them they should protect their investment in their facial. It’s tough though. The questioner is spot on.

    **QUESTION** what brand are the facial sponges you use to remove products?! Are they as clean and sanitary as using regular hot towel removal? ( I love the idea of not having the make a million hot towels for one facial treatment)
    -I’m obsessed with your videos. Whenever I feel like I’m in a slight rut or bored with my treatments I always go to your videos to give me a spark and rejuvenates my passion and verbiage in the treatment room. THANK YOU!

    Hi Nerida. I've been a (Canadian) fan of your videos for awhile now and just turning 24 decided it was time to take my skin care seriously. Is it true to wait a minute or so after applying Retinol before applying anything else such as a moisturizer or does it not make a difference? Thank you!

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад +3

      I usually spend a little time working in the retinol and then you can apply your moisturizer directly over top is perfect. Sometimes it is best to use say the q flavonoid first, retinol serum and the the moisturizer if your skin starts to get a little sensitive or dry:))

    Hi beautiful lady! I’ve been watching your videos for a while now, in which I adore and have leaned so much! I have noticed that with some of your masks that you tend to add your healing gel instead of using the mask alone. Can you help me understand in what cases you should or shouldn’t cut the mask with another product? Thank you!! ❤️

    Hi Nerida! I’m totally binge watching to catch up - school has gotten very busy. I noticed you used the fruit acid complex and then a retinol. I don’t usually use an AHA with a retinol. However, I have a client that i think might benefit from this approach. Were you able to do that because the retinol was light, or did you cut it with something? Thank you so much!!

      Hi Shana,

    Hi Nerida, what is the difference between Retinols and Retinoids? And is one better than the other? I've been using a Retinoid as I was told they are less irritating to the skin, but wondering if I would see better results with a Retinol? Love your videos, very informative.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад

      retinol is one molecule of the vitamin groupings....retinoids are other molecules.... which are best depends on your product formulas:))

    • @Hannah-xj1dz

      Nerida Joy thanks for answering. I have medium skin with dark circles and hyperpigmentation or melasma on my cheeks (they look like freckles) and my dermatologist has done 2 peelings on me after preparing my skin with a night cream with 8% glycolic acid and 2% phytic acid for 4 months now. I’ve also been using a day moisturizer with 20% of vitamin c, 8% glycolic acid, 2% phytic acid and vitamins A and E. The brand is Eneomey.
      What do you think about this regimen?? I feel that my skin is getting softer and better but not much has changed regarding my hyperpigmentation..
      any pointers? What should I do for my dark circle as they worsen my dull complexion? Do you think I could mix my night cream with hyaluronic acid or oils? Is my dermatologist doing the right thing in not using retinol on me? I’m a French-Moroccan in my mid-30s.
      Merci! ❤️❤️

    Hi , i want to ask I should go to community college or private academy to learn esthetician ? Thank you . And how can I become expert like you ? And what can I do to make 60,000 a year as an esthetician . I appreciate your answer .

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад +1

      I have known people that have gone to both....community college and private academy. They seem to be about the same with the education. To become and expert is to immures yourself into your profession examining what makes sense to you and do the best you can every single day. Practice and study as much as you can surrounding the industry and craft. The more you do the more confident you become and through that your business will grow. Enjoy the beautiful ride:)))))))

      Nerida Joy I want to ask : is esthetician need stand whole time , or they can sit down to work ? And I have 3 kids , if I become esthetician, do I have to work on Sunday or I can have choice ? I don’t want to work on Sunday or at night . Do you think esthetician can have that choice ? Should I work at doctor or spa ? I am very appreciate your help .

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 5 лет назад +1

      An Dallas hello! 👋🏼 this depends on the type of business you work for and what they need... unfortunately nights and weekends are usually a must in our industry, if you work for someone else. If you open your own business, however, that is more up to you.

    • @andallas668
      @andallas668 5 лет назад +1

      Devon Pfeifer really appreciate your answer !! But it is really hard for me to work on Sunday or nights Bc I have 3 kids . So do you think esthetician who work with doctor clinic can work in weekdays only ? And medical esthetic is good choice ??

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 5 лет назад +1

      An Dallas it depends on the business and what they need. You may be able to find somewhere that is flexible for you. But a lot of jobs are on-call and dependent on you bringing the clients in. Working for yourself would be the best if you want more flexibility with your life. It all depends on what the business needs, so I cannot give you a straight yes or no answer.
