He's not blind he just lost some vision so i guess he seen blurry things but not fully blind so he still got his eye

you can still be legally blind in an eye(s) and have your eyes look normal. I have pretty bad vision without glasses (very short sighted) and my eyes look totally normal. Legally blind i believe is when your eyesight is -3.5 or below with glasses or contact lenses on.
