Sounds lovely, a lot more aggressive than the stock setup on the XFR for sure, kind of reminiscent of the aggression you got from the early F-Type models🔥👍

Great video! Question for you because you owned multiple exhaust setups; are the stock RS mufflers really so tinny sounding or is it just on video? I can get a pair of RS mufflers for my XFR, but cant decide between them and the more deep sounding aftermarket options like spires or mina.
They are tinny sounding or to properly put it, high pitched European V8 sound. The sound is also a bit nicer and slightly deeper in person compared to what the mic can capture. Personally I really like this sound because it sounds unique, exotic, and closer to an F-Type R. The Varex active muffler setup I had on my XFR and XF 5.0 were much deeper sounding, think american V8 (Mustang 5.0). The deep V8 sound is nice, but it sounds like every other muscle car and loses some of the Jaguar growling characteristics of the factory exhaust. The R-S mufflers, combined with an X-Pipe mid pipe is louder than the standard XFR exhaust, but doesn't quite produce the volume of an F-Type R or aftermarket mufflers, so keep that in mind.
Ok....its 2022..And I must say. They sure don't build them like they used to.Unfortunately,Jaguar has definitely taken a back seat to the competition nowadays. They got rid of the V8, and now they're slowly attacking the V6's.Only thing left is V4.Is that even a class 🤔😤
Love it! I'm only a few miles away from where you were driving. Did you by chance buy that vehicle at a small used car dealer a few miles away a year or two ago?

Great car, I love Jaguars...but hate that snap crackle and pop sound coming from the exhaust, it sounds like theres a major problem with the engine. Give me the muscle car grunt and V8 burble any day of the week...simple class!
@@findingrush when you say resonator do you mean the back boxes? Have you completely removed them or just gutted the insides? I ask because your tips look standard

@@findingrush ah I get you. Thanks for clarifying, I am planning on modding my exhaust and want a similar sound to yours, maybe a bit more like a RR SVR but I still want it to be usable every day.

The supercharger whine on these isn't that noticeable. And I agree on the pops and bangs. I can't wait for that fad to go away as it just ruins the sound entirely.
Any Jaguar with this supercharged V8 is awesome 👏

Sound's amazing, lovely aggressive exhaust note👌
I wasn't expecting symphony when I played this video. Didn't disappoint and fueled my passion!
