Thanks enjoyed that, got a family connection with Inishkea South, my grandfather was born there, his gt gt gt grandfather John Marcus Keane was first to settle on the South Island in mid 1700’s , reputedly to get away from the attentions of the excise men on Achill. John Marcus and grandson (I think) Anthony were elected Kings . Anthony is the Intelligent Peasant King mentioned by James Campbell.
