thanks for the tutorials man , super helpful and I love how you actually explain what your doing unlike many tuts out there. keep up the awesome work and thanks again
wow thanks for this knowledge! I've been working with many synths now for awhile and now it all makes so much sense now and is just flowing out!!! I'm so stoked!!
Loved this tutorial!! Obviously this wasn´t an easy tutorial if Massive is totally new for you. But as for me i loved the swiftness in here since I am just so impatiant for the excess blabing. Thank you so much!
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I followed all of the directions and I'm getting more of a weird saw-type sound than a pad-type sound. Any thoughts?
I'm finding I'm not able to see the envelopes or the LFO... I can change the parameters but they are greyed out and I'm not seeing that white line. Any idea what's happening there? Am I missing a step?
Would it be possible to use an audio channel through a guitar to get sounds and presets from a synthesizer (massive)? Could you call in layers? What would that call be like at Ableton? Thankful.
I love all of your tutorials but i am finding i never start with the same sound - therefore never ending with the same sound. Is it because i use Ableton (with Massive inside as a VST) as my DAW and you are doing this in FL? Is the initial waveform generated different between DAWs? Sorry if that makes no sense, I am new... Thanks in advance
Thanks for the response. I always do initialise a new preset but it wasn't helping. I think its that i start with different chords. I never know what chords are being played in these tutorials so i just use my own haha
These tutorials could be so perfect if you just included the chords you used in the video. Once again it's just impossible to tell whether it's our massive patch or the chords making the sounds different.
INCO I'd say Serum is better in terms of versatility of sounds and the UI makes it a lot easier to understand what you're doing to the sounds. Off that point, Massive I had to do a lot of listening to figure out where the filter cutoff was or what the wavetable looked like. Serum also sounds cleaner. Massive is better for more warmer, dirtier sounds in that aspect. But if you had to choose one over the other, I'd go with Serum.
