hi, i have a question. At 0:55, you say "if you're working on a MacBook, I would suggest output color space rec.709 and output gamma rec.709-A". Could you tell me a bit about why this is recommended? Or if you know of any other resources that are available on the topic? Ive been trying to find out about this. Cheers!
love the tutorial! sorry if this is a dumb question but do you keep your white balance locked when youre filming on your phone? Or do you auto white balance then just adjust the footage in post (sorry new to this stuff)
@@RM-qz8hw no dumb questions! I personally will set and lock the WB beforehand. So that I know what WB it was on when I edit the footage. But whatever works for you
direct and simple, love this kind of tutorial

I'm not a pro on this, but afaik rec709-A, the "A" means Apple color space that will match with the apple monitor.
so kind, so nice. thank you

Amazing! For those of use less skilled - how much quality can we get with just BM app and a baked in LUT with maybe some coloring in FCPX?
@@jaymills1720 i’ll be as happy just to use the LUT :) something quick and still good
Hi, could you please make video on render settings that you use for iPhone footages for premiere pro 4k
@@luffyfather7832 can never go wrong with high bitrate
Definitely a rookie question here, but how do I apply a powergrade? Thanks for the video!
at your powergrade tab, right click and import
thank you🎉❤
♥️♥️
amazing
Nice video man, thanks for sharing ! Are you still on the iPhone 15 ? Are you gonna get an iPhone 16 ?
@@TopshelfJunior no 💸
Great tutorial! I imported the powergrade, now I click apply grade, but no nodes appear and nothing changes. am I missing anything?
it should be there, have you tried the .dpx file?
@@vedroelcitra yeah, it just won‘t apply for some reason. But I created the nodes by myself and created a still, now I have it 😄
@@someuser257 nice!! You’re a problem solver
what is the right exposure meter for shooting in apple log?
@@bryannbrahma i’d go for the middle or just a tad under
What should be the cst if you don’t shoot in log? If you shoot in iphone 14 pro?
I don't think you need CST, non-log iphone will shoot already in Rec 709
4k 24fps plz
Can I purchase your Lut?
No. Cause it’s free :) find it on one of my videos
