    Thank you. I had my Visconti Demonstrator fixed by the Nib Guy, so now it writes well. This video helped a lot to show how to fill the chamber with ink. I like my pen now!

    Great video, Thank you! I'm happy with my half fill, as I mentioned today when you mentioned this video. But it's really very helpful when you want to write a lot with 1 fill.

      Glad it was helpful my dear ! I told you - the HS has a huge ink volume - the double fill makes it to the max but even with a half fill is still more than enough :D

    Hi Emy. I was gifted a Visconti Blue Swirl power vac. Thank you for your video. I was able to get a great fill. I love the way you explained how to get a proper fill. I know it does take practice. 😊😊😊

    Super helpfull video! Thank you so much.
    Btw, the amount of ink inside the pen after the first fill is embarrassing.
    I have the same problem with my Visconti Woodstock.
    Luckily, i live in Florence. 😊

      Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much :D - yes the ink volume from one go is quite small but with a little work it can be a full barrel

    You really have to be careful using this method, as once while filling one of my Homo Sapiens on the final fill the pen body slipped between my fingers and the nib hit the bottom of the bottle. The tines were knocked out of alignment, but luckily I was able to correct it. I think it's safer to use the Visconti Traveling Inkwell or just be satisfied with half a fill since they hold so much ink anyway.

    • @pen.venture
      @pen.venture  4 года назад +3

      You are right Chris, must be careful doing this operation but it’s the only way you can fill it completely. Many are asking and wanted to demonstrate on video how to do it step by step.

    • @PenFriends

      CHRIS LJ this works well with piston fillers too :)

    • @pen.venture

  • @gsgleason

    The problem with this is that it contaminates your ink well.

    • @pen.venture
      @pen.venture  8 месяцев назад

      Since you are expelling the same ink color in the same inkwell I don’t see contamination being valid but … the world aynt perfect, there isn’t a solution to fix everything

    Man, you talk way too much instead of just getting right into it and show the pen filling! And I hardly could understand your thick accent. However, it was a good idea to use a semi-transparent pen so we can see the barrel being filled. Filling the pen twice or more does NOT work. The air bubbles do not come out. I have an expensive Visconti pen and I could never get it to fill at all. So, what do you say as to how to fill it? I tried different bottles of ink, which then contaminates the inks, because the bottles are FULL, and yet, I don't get the barrel filled at all. It's frustrating because this is an unused pen because I have never been able to fill it. Grazie.

    • @pen.venture
      @pen.venture  Год назад +1

      :)) talking is how one can explain - on the accent - I cant change too much or maybe in time it got better :D Please check to see If there isnt a problem with the pen, usually a half or 30% fill is standard at visconti :D and keep the nib and section submerged in ink :D

      @@pen.venture Talking about your wife killing you if she found out you were using the glass cup is not relevant to the subject matter, not to mention it's stupid (like we know how to contact your wife to rat you out - how stupid is that?!)! So don't call what you do as "talking!" It's jabbering nonsense! It's embarrassing for Stipula. This is the problem with millions of videos that just keep jabbering/"talking" at nauseam and wasting the viewers' time until the viewer is forced to click off. Stop wasting the viewers' time! Respect yourself and only talk about what you know about fountain pens. I did what you stated about submerging the nib in the ink, but it doesn't work. I knew about doing this before I contacted you, but since you know about Stipula pens, therefore I wrote to you. The pen is virtually new but I have never been able to fill it. So the pen is not damaged. So what do you think is the problem? I would send it to Firenze, Stipulas's headquarters, but i can't find its exact address for it. I appreciate whatever suggestion you can provide. Grazie for your time.
