I grew up in his hometown. I knew his mom when I was in high school and my family knew him for years when he was younger. Really great guy. He helped the high school get so much equipment for sports and helped many.
Im so sorry for people with this condition. I hope they find the cure. So sad

Extremely difficult to watch. I'm so sad for Brian. I met Brian back in 2001. I was a huge Blazer fan being from Portland Oregon. I went to many home games while he was #44. God bless you during your troubled times. He was an amazing athlete. I had a huge crush on Brian. He's so handsome! I wish him all the best moving forward! Thank you for caring for the community Brian. I need to purchase this book. Love Brian Grant. Prayers and love sent to you Brian. I still have the autographed basketball cards and the picture together the day we met in Sherwood Oregon. Truly heartbreaking watching this. Many hugs to you!

This is a great man! I met him in Portland at REI a couple years ago and he was super cool. I told him how much of a fan of his I was and he was very gracious. He wished me merry Christmas and it made my day.
The only NBA jersey I own, is Sacramento King's #33, Brian Grant. He was such a warrior; a great defender and rebounded WAY above his size. My prayers go out to him for some relief.

Wow Brian I got my diagnosis about 2011. It all started when I had to get Rotator Cuff Surgery....after the surgery I noticed a shake like tremor in my left pinky. I told the surgeon and she told me to go see the neurologist and that's when I found out I heard that and I was like WTF I am a healthy 55 year old 6'4 220 pound invincible Italian guy. I think I was in great shape. I can't believe I got something like this.
As I am watching you speak I have such respect for you. Nobody knows how difficult it is on our self confidence how we don't want strangers or friends looking at us with such pity, though most of the time they don't.
I take Sinemet but it doesn't seem like it works. I think a puff or two helps me more. They talked to me about DBS implants but I don't care to have another surgery because all this started when I had the rotator surgery. The tremors drive me crazy I wish I could fix that. Surprisingly enough I don't see many people like us at stores and such. So i don't know if people just don't go out and I understand that. I will try to read your book and keep you in my prayers I have a pretty good relationship with the big guy in Heaven. I don't know if you are a spiritual guy but sometimes I think when I pray it helps me more than meds do.
