Angsana Teluk Bahang, Penang | Right in the bay of heat!

The Angsana Teluk Bahang Hotel is located in a suburb of Georgetown, Penang that is quite literally named the 'Bay of Heat'. Fortunately for us, it didn't quite live up to its name when we were there. Just the typical heat and humidity that we're already used to in Southeast Asia.
If you love being surrounded by nature, and enjoy the sun, sand and the sea more than you appreciate culture, heritage and the hustle & bustle of the city, then this hotel is as close to a perfect destination as it gets.
Ensconced in a quiet, peaceful corner in the northwestern tip of Penang, with gently rolling hills and lush green forests as a backdrop and the sandy shores of Teluk Bahang beach as well as the gently lapping waves of the Andaman sea as your front yard, the Angsana Teluk Bahang offers a more budget-friendly (compared to the E&O) yet equally amazing experience for families and couples alike.
