Don't know if Utopia can stop thier attack if thier attack is negated. Plus he probably had something to negate Utopia's effect like Skill Drain or Forbidden Chalice or maybe Breakthrough Skill

​@@silverwolf9396When a card activates it's effect it first needs to resolve it, so what MrVarient is saying is true, because the result is that hope negates it's own attack before magic cylinder can even resolve.
